Fuji TV’s “Poka Poka” program will air the anime adaptation of Yajima’s Neko ni Tensei Shita Ojisan (Neko Oji: The Guy that Got Reincarnated as a Cat) web manga beginning in October, according to Monday’s Fuji TV Anime Lineup Press Conference 2024.
Yajima uses X/Twitter to serialize the manga. In the story, the company president where the elderly guy works rescues him after he is unexpectedly reborn as a charming cat.
Rio and Takahiro Kawakoshi are directing the anime at Studio Eight Colors.
The Guy That Got Reincarnated as a Cat’s manga in second place last year won the web manga category of the Next Manga Awards (Tsugi ni Kuru Manga Taish).
