Let’s put an end to that! This article provides a useful list of cheats for the Sims 4 that will allow you to quickly confer any kind of academic degree on your Sim.

I also demonstrate a few of my favorite mods for getting fake degrees in The Sims 4: Discover University.

How to Cheat a Degree in The Sims 4?

To use cheat codes in The Sims 4, press CTRL + SHIFT + C to open the cheat code box, then type in “testingcheats on” and then type in the degree of cheat that you want to use.

Repeat by pressing CTRL + SHIFT + C in order to close the cheats console.

In order to cheat a university degree in The Sims 4, you will need to open the cheat code box and enter one of the degree cheats that are listed for each type of degree.

You’ll find a total of four different cheat codes for each degree, one for the regular degree, one for the regular degree with honors, one for the distinguished degree, and one for the distinguished degree with honors.

Only ONE of these cheat codes needs to be entered for your Sim to earn each degree that you select.

In The Sims 4, a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree originates from Britechester, while a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree originates from Foxbury.

You can, however, enter multiple cheat codes to give your sims more than one degree.

For example, if you want your sim to have a degree in biology in addition to a degree in economics, you could give them both of those degrees.

When you have successfully entered the cheat code, the degree will be added to the simology panel of your character’s sim under the heading “degree.”

If you find that these university cheats are not working, check that testingcheats are turned on, the sim to whom you want to give a degree is active, and that the cheat code has been typed in correctly.

If you still find that the cheats are not working, try again.

It is highly recommended that you use copy and paste when entering these cheat codes into your Sims game in order to avoid making any typos.

Sims 4 Mods for Cheating Degree

The use of mods makes the process of awarding your Sims a degree, or even multiple degrees, MUCH simpler.

You won’t need to go through the trouble of writing out lengthy cheat codes and risk making a typo that will render the whole thing useless.

It only takes the click of a button to award your sim with a degree, change their grade, have them sign up for a club on campus, and even let them graduate ahead of schedule.

1. Designed by Deadpool, the MC Command Center

The MC Command Center is a mod for The Sims 4 that is absolutely necessary.

It has TONS of features.

Instead of having to enter cheat codes, we can now make changes to our sims by navigating through a series of menus.

This makes the process much simpler.

For this post, we’ll be focusing on how to cheat a degree in Sims 4 MCCC and some of its other cool university cheat features.

1. First, click on your sim and find the ‘MC Command Center‘ option.
2. Once the menu pops up navigate to MC Cheats > Cheat Sim Info > Expansion Cheats > University Cheats.
3. To give your sim a degree, click on ‘Award Specific Degree‘.
4. The following choices will become available as a result of your action: Diploma, Honors Diploma, Prestige Diploma, and Honors/Prestige Diploma.
5. These are known in Sims 4 Discover University as Degree, Degree with Honors, Distinguished Degree, & Distinguished Degree with Honors.
6. Pick the degree type you want then which subject you want your sim to have a degree in, like a fine art degree.
7. You can find your sim’s new degree listed under degrees in their Simology Panel!

Finish Term and Graduate Now are two additional options available to you when using MCCC University Cheats.

Graduate Now allows you to immediately have your sim graduate from their current degree program with a perfect GPA, while Finish Term allows you to immediately complete the current school term that your sim is working on.

You can also use the MCCC university cheats menu to have your sim join a university organization, such as The Order of Enchantment, which is the university’s secret society.

And once your sim joins an organization, they’ll have access to a new option in the university cheats menu called “Organization Cheats,” which will allow you to manipulate your sim’s position within the organization they’re a part of!

And last but not least, if you go to the University Cheats menu and click on the option labeled “Award All Degrees,” your Sim will be able to earn every degree there is to earn in the game!

2. UI Cheat Extension

The next mod that you may use to cheat in Sims 4 University is the absolutely ESSENTIAL UI Cheats Extension mod.

This mod gives you access to a variety of new cheating features.

To explain what this mod does in the simplest words possible, rather than having to type cheat codes into the cheats bar, you can visibly click on objects in the Sims 4 UI (such as skills, needs, money, and so on) and change them.

This replaces the need to type in the cheats codes.

For your university, you can accomplish this in the following ways:

1. When you give your sim’s degree program icon a right-click under the class schedule, a menu will pop up that gives you the option to cheat your sim’s grade point average to whatever value you want it to be.
2. Which kid do you prefer: one who excels academically and earns an A+ or one who is just an ordinary class clown and earns a C?
3. You now have the capacity to design whatever kind of sim you want in a straightforward and expedient manner!
4. You can also manipulate your Sim’s grade in a university class by right-clicking on an icon representing one of their classes.
5. This will bring up a menu that allows you to adjust the class grade of your sim using a numerical scale ranging from one to one hundred.
6. You will never get a failing grade again!
7. Right-clicking on the chores you need to perform for the university allows you to finish them all with a single click.
8. For instance, you can quickly finish the final exam by right-clicking on the “Take Final Exam” button in your sim’s class schedule.
9. A similar thing can be done in order to swiftly do one’s homework for university.

3. Finish all of your homework (for a more manageable experience, I use the faster homework mod!).
4. Check your grade using your phone or computer and send your professors an email updating them on your progress.
5. Polish and organize all required presentations until they are of excellent quality, and then give the presentation as soon as possible before the end of the term.
6. Complete all necessary term papers by writing, revising, and editing them until they are of excellent quality, then turn them in via the computer before the end of the term.
7. Prepare yourself academically before the end of the semester, and make sure to show up on time for the final exams.

However, if you find that to be too much work, you can also cheat an A+ grade in your Sims 4 university classes by downloading the UI Cheats Extension mod, right-clicking on your sim’s class in the class schedule panel, and entering 100 for their course grade.

This will give your sim an A+ in the class.

In case you were wondering, this also gives you the ability to view your sim’s current grade on a scale from one to one hundred.

Q- What’s the difference between a regular degree and a distinguished degree in The Sims 4?

ANS: The most significant difference between regular degrees and distinguished degrees in The Sims 4 is that when your sim graduates with a distinguished degree, they will be offered a higher starting level in those careers as well as a higher starting bonus.

This is the case because distinguished degrees are considered more prestigious than regular degrees.

For instance, if your Sim graduated from Foxbury University with a distinguished degree in Biology, they will be able to enter the doctorate career at level 7 right away, instead of level 6 like Sims who graduated from Britechester University with a regular degree.

If you want to earn a distinguished degree, you will first need to get accepted into one of the specific distinguished degree programs offered by either Foxbury University or Britechester University.

Britechester Distinguished Degrees:

7. Language & Literature

Foxbury Distinguished Degrees:

A distinguished degree with honors is the pinnacle of academic achievement that can be achieved in The Sims 4.

But if your Sim isn’t accepted into the college of their choice, you shouldn’t worry about it too much because earning a regular degree with honors can be almost as beneficial in terms of starting job levels and bonuses!

Q- Are two degrees possible for a Sim?

ANS: In Sims 4: Discover University, the answer is yes; your Sim can earn two degrees.

You can actually give your sim an unlimited number of degrees if you complete them one at a time, use degree cheats for each one, or make use of the option that comes with the MC Command Center mod that allows you to “give your sim every degree.”
