June 10 Will Be a Big Day for Assassin’s Creed Red Fans

Assassin’s Creed Red’s official gameplay debut will take place at the 2024 Ubisoft Forward, according to a reliable report.

The upcoming mainline Assassin’s Creed title is set to be released in fiscal year 2025, which runs from April 2024 to March 2025. This means that an official introduction at Ubisoft’s big summer event seems likely.

For Ubisoft, the Assassin’s Creed series has been a big hit. Fans have been eagerly awaiting news of the next mainline entry since the releases of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla in 2020 and Assassin’s Creed Mirage in 2023.

Because of their requests, Ubisoft announced Assassin’s Creed: Codename Red at the 2022 Ubisoft Forward. This game will take the series to feudal Japan, which was a very popular choice.

Before its third-quarter 2024 sales report came out earlier this year, the company didn’t say anything about the game. That’s when it said that Ubisoft planned to release Assassin’s Creed Red in FY2025.

The official gameplay reveal of Assassin’s Creed Red will be featured in this summer’s Ubisoft Forward, which is scheduled for June 10, according to a report from Insider Gaming that was recently published.

A cinematic trailer revealing Assassin’s Creed Red’s win title and a tentative release window can be expected, according to fans.

According to the leak, media outlets and people who make content will be able to play the game during the week of Summer Games Fest. On June 12, the preview ban will end for that week.

Assassin’s Creed Red Will Kick Off an Important Era for the Series

According to reports, Ubisoft will also use Red to promote the release of Assassin’s Creed Infinity, which will be the main hub for the Assassin’s Creed universe.

The modern story arc that connects all of the Assassin’s Creed games will reportedly be in Assassin’s Creed Infinity. The whole series will switch to a single engine called the Anvil Pipeline to make this possible.

In addition to speeding up development, this will also unlock graphical benefits like ray-traced global illumination. Moving to the Anvil Pipeline, however, is said to have required a complete overhaul of technical aspects like animations, parkour systems, dynamic weather, and so on.

For those eager for more details about the upcoming Assassin’s Creed title, Insider Gaming’s track record is almost flawless, which means great things.

A while back, some details about the gameplay of Assassin’s Creed Red were leaked. They claim that the game will have a new parkour system, a focus on stealth, and bloody combat similar to Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.

In addition, Red will break the series’ usual one-protagonist mold by adding two playable characters: the renowned African samurai Yasuke and a female Assassin named Naoe. With just over a month to go, the Ubisoft Forward in June is looking like it will be one to watch.
