On Tuesday, Studio Ghibli presented a brand new animated video for its Ghibli Park that is fifteen seconds long.
The film is a celebration of the “Valley of Witches” portion of the park, which is scheduled to open on March 16th.
A moving castle that is reminiscent of Howl’s Moving Castle is shown in the advertisement here.
Hayao Miyazaki did the storyboarding for the advertisement. Akihiko Yamashita, who was also the character designer and animation director for Howl’s Moving Castle, was in charge of directing the advertisement.
Noboru Yoshida, who was the art director for the film, also acted as the art director for the commercial.
The producer of the studio, Toshio Suzuki, stated that Hayao Miyazaki’s son, Goro Miyazaki, requested his father to make the advertisement.

On November 1, 2022, Ghibli Park finally opened its doors after a two-year delay from its initial opening date of 2020.
Some places are accessible to the general public, including Ghibli’s Grand Warehouse, the Hill of Youth, and the Dondoko Forest.
Of the present 194-hectare (about 479-acre) Aichi Expo Memorial Park, which was the location of the World Expo 2005, the park occupies around 7.1 hectares, which is equivalent to approximately 17.5 acres.
November 2023 saw the opening of the Mononoke Forest section of the park.
In January 2023, the amusement park began selling tickets online to customers all over the world.
Studio Ghibli also oversees the Ghibli Museum, which is in Mitaka, west of Tokyo.
The Ghibli Museum has a revolving showing of several Ghibli-animated shorts, as well as interactive displays and reproductions of renowned Ghibli inventions. Additionally, the museum allows visitors to engage with it.
