Coachella Lineup Adds Yoasobi, Hatsune Miku, and Atarashii Gakkō!

The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival unveiled its complete lineup of performers on January 17, with three Japanese artists set to take the stage at this highly anticipated music festival.

On April 12 and 19, the pop duo YOASOBI will perform, then on April 13 and 20, the renowned Vocaloid icon Hatsune Miku, and on April 14 and 21, the girl music group Atarashii Gakko!

Furthermore, the South Korean girl group LE SSERAFIM, who sang the theme song for the live-action Sexy Tanaka-san series, will have performances on April 13 and 20.

The presale of tickets for Coachella’s website began on January 19.

Hatsune Miku and singer Kyary Pamyu Pamyu were scheduled to perform at the 2020 Coachella in April of that year.

The festival, originally postponed to October 2020 because of COVID-19, was later canceled for the first time in 20 years due to public gathering bans, lockdowns, and travel restrictions that year, all related to COVID-19. Coachella had to be canceled in 2021 but made a comeback in 2022.

The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival takes place every year at the Coachella Valley in California.

The festival features well-known and experienced musical artists as well as up-and-coming artists from a wide range of music genres.

YOASOBI achieved great success on the Billboard Japan 2023 charts with their song “Idol,” the opening theme song of the Oshi no Ko anime. They also sang theme songs for the second season of BEASTARS, Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End, and Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch From Mercury.
