All Uniforms in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are the first mainline Pokemon games to take place in an open world. You can choose when and how you want to take on the game’s many challenges.

If you want to spend the whole game ignoring the main storyline and catching every Pokemon in Paldea, you finally have that freedom.

But if you thought the most important things in a game called Pokemon were the Pokemon themselves, you were wrong.

In the wild world of Paldea, the most important thing is to always look good. You’re lucky that your school gave you a nice set of clothes that might take your style to the next level.

8. New Autumn Uniform

Scarlet

The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC includes the New Autumn Uniform as an alternative to the Autumn Uniform. It’s… fine.

The strange shorts really put this uniform in last place because they don’t fit right and draw a lot of attention away from the rest of the outfit.

Except for the shorts, everything else about the outfit is pretty good. It’s hard to say no to a nice sweater, and the use of white in Scarlet and black in Violet makes the whole uniform feel bright and sleek, respectively.

7. Summer Uniform

The Summer Uniform is a set of clothes that come with the base game. It’s fine.

The shorts are long enough that the wider bottoms look natural, and the light blue button-up and tie are simple enough that they won’t make things look too busy if you wear other items.

Why is it so far down on the list?

Simple designs are easy to change, but the Summer Uniform has no style at all.

A few solid-colored details on the torso would not have made the design so difficult that it would have taken away from the effect of your accessories.

6. New Summer Uniform

The New Summer Uniform is another DLC uniform, and it’s the first one on the list that’s kind of cool.

The polo that comes with this uniform is pretty simple, but the slightly darker arms and the emblem on the chest give it a unique look compared to other uniforms.

The shorts are the biggest problem with this uniform. It’s not so bad that it’s hard to like, but the shorts in both games are close to clashing with the colors of the top.

The shorts are almost good because they are still warm enough, but they would have been better if they hadn’t added a new color to the mix.

5. Spring Uniform

Changes happen in the spring, and you get a really cool outfit. The look of these outfits is consistent and interesting, but they are still simple enough to work well with accessories.

In particular, the suspenders add to the design because they are a neutral color and don’t mess up the color balance.

The solid colors of the shirt’s cuffs are one of the cool things about this outfit.

They match the pants and tie and give the design a little extra flair. The pants aren’t anything special, but they make the light blue top of the outfit look better.

4. New Spring Uniform

The New Spring Uniform is a big improvement on the original Spring Uniform, but it still has all the good parts of the old one.

The original long-sleeve button-up has been replaced by a Scarlet long-sleeve polo and a Violet sweater vest.

Even though the tie in the lower half of the torso is gone, both styles add small details that keep the look interesting.

The shorts in this outfit do everything right.

Even though they are a different color than the top, they are close enough in brightness and temperature to the colors in the top to work as a complement instead of a distraction, blending into the design while still making it interesting.

3. Winter Uniform

The Winter Uniform in the base game adds a lot more color and visual excitement, but not so much that it’s too distracting.

The small amounts of blue and yellow in Scarlet and Violent make the main colors of the clothes stand out.

But it’s small enough that you never get the impression that this color is one of your school’s main ones.

The pants are fine for this uniform. They just make it clear what the main color of this outfit is meant to be.

The top has a collar and pockets, which are cool little features that make it feel even more like it was made for the game and not like a generic coat and pants.

2. Autumn Uniform

Vests are easy to remember. There’s no denying that. The vests in these uniforms are a big difference to the school colors, which makes the outfits easier to remember.

Since the outfit is made up of two colors that go against each other, it has the same effect as Sonic and Mario’s blue and red. As you wear it, it gives your character a theme.

The only small problem with this uniform is that the complimentary colors that make up the vests are not the school colors.

This makes it a little strange for a school uniform for those colors to be so important in the design. Still, it doesn’t make the outfit look bad at all.

1. New Winter Uniform

The New Winter Uniform from the Area Zero DLC is, without a doubt, Scarlet and Violet’s most fun outfit. This is because it uses color in a bold way.

From the top to the bottom, these clothes are dominated by their main color. They don’t try to tone anything down with neutral or accent colors, but instead focus on a single tone.

In a world as cartoony as Pokemon’s, these clothes’ bold style fits right in. The other uniforms would benefit from similar design choices, especially if they focused more on colors that stand out.

Why not the main character? The other figures in the game are made with bright colors, so why not?

How to Change Uniform in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet?

Any of the four school outfits can be worn at any time. To do this, just press left on the D-Pad while in the open world to bring up the Outfit menu.

The first tab is “Uniforms.” Click on a uniform you like to see a sample, and then click “Back” to save your changes.

You can get accessories for your school outfit in shops all over Paldea.

You can also switch between any items you own in the Outfit menu, so while you can’t wear different shirts and pants, you can add your own style with other details.
