There have been a few video games set in the alternate future where apes rule the Earth rather than humans, ranging from the PlayStation-era tie-in for the infamous 2001 Planet of the Apes remake to the prototype Revenge of the Apes game for the old Atari 2600 console that wouldn’t see the light of day until 2003.
Plant of the Apes: Last Frontier, which came out in 2017 and is a prequel to War for the Planet of the Apes, was the most recent game in the series.
In Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, the legendary apes are set to make a comeback to the big screen, and Fortnite may be planning a crossover event to celebrate the movie.
