PS5 Pro Specs Leak Online

Two reliable insiders have now corroborated the recently leaked specifications for the rumored PlayStation 5 Pro console. For quite some time, the PlayStation 5 Pro console has been rumored.

Many fans thought Sony would make a stronger PS5 like it did with the PS4 Pro. There have been rumors about the PS5 Pro console online, even though Sony hasn’t officially announced it yet.

Persistent rumors and leaks from reliable sources say the PS5 Pro exists and will launch later this year. The PS5 Pro console is expected to be available in time for the launch of Grand Theft Auto 6 in 2025, according to reports.

While Grand Theft Auto 6 will not be available on PC, the new game is sure to be a system seller, and many people will likely buy a PS5 just so they can play GTA 6.

As a result, some of these people will want the best performance and will be considering buying a PS5 Pro console.

Moore’s Law is Dead was the first to share details about the PS5 Pro, which were later corroborated by Insider Gaming. More information on the PS5 Pro recently leaked online.

According to reports, the PS5 Pro will have “rendering 45% faster than PS5, 2-3x Ray-tracing, 33.5 Teraflops, PSSR upscaling/antialiasing solution, custom machine learning architecture, and an AI Accelator supporting 300 TOPS of 8-bit computation/ 67 TFLOPS of 16-bit floating point.” According to rumors, a future PS5 Pro model will be able to handle 8K resolution.

The documentation for this information was shared in a developer portal but was later leaked.

PS5 Pro Specs Leaked

More information about the PS5 Pro spec leak can be found in the Insider Gaming report. Outsiders have had PS5 Pro development kits since January, but Sony’s own studios have had them since September of last year, according to Insider Gaming.

However, there is no information on how much the PS5 Pro will cost yet, but it will be more expensive than the PS5, which costs $449.99 for the digital version and $499.99 for the disc version right now.

One must assume that the new console will cost more than $500, though it’s not clear how much more expensive it will be, unless the PS5 price drops along with the PS5 Pro’s release.

The PS5 Pro is expected to launch later this year, according to previous reports from Insider Gaming. However, they added that the console’s release date could change “due to the lack of first-party games” that are coming out for the PS5.

It made sense for Sony to push back the release date of the PS5 Pro since the company recently admitted that it didn’t have any new PS5-only games planned for 2024 that were as big as God of War Ragnarok or Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.

This could mean that the launcher for the console will happen closer to the release of Grand Theft Auto 6 in 2025.

Fans need to be careful with all of this information right now. Sony hasn’t officially announced the PS5 Pro yet, so don’t get too excited about the possibilities just yet.

Fans should keep an eye out for more information if the PS5 Pro does exist. It could be announced at a PlayStation State of Play event or at the upcoming Summer Game Fest.
