Mega Heracross is set to come out on April 13 in Pokemon GO. Since Pokemon X and Y came out in 2013, Mega Evolutions have been a part of the Pokemon series.
With the majority of Mega Evolutions easily accessible in the augmented reality mobile game, the concept eventually found its way to Pokemon GO.
Mega Evolutions in Pokemon GO don’t work quite the same way as they do in the main series games. Pokémon GO players can Mega Evolve their Pokemon using Mega Energy.
Players can get Mega Energy by winning Mega Raid Battles, walking with certain Buddy Pokemon, and finishing certain quests. Pokemon GO Mega Evolutions typically last for eight hours and give Pokemon a significant battle boost.
Mega Evolving is worth it for Pokemon GO players who need a boost in a battle, even though it may require a lot of resources.
Some Mega Evolutions have yet to make their debut in Pokemon GO, despite the vast majority of them already being available.
At the time of writing, Mega Heracross will be added to Pokemon GO, which will add 10 Mega Evolutions that are currently missing from the game.
The Pokemon GO developer Niantic didn’t say for sure that Mega Heracross would be coming on April 13, but they did release a teaser video that points that way.

While Mega Heracross is still being added to Pokemon GO, nine more Mega Evolutions still need to make their debut.
Nine Mega Evolutions are still missing from Pokemon GO: Mega Audino, Mega Camerupt, Mega Gallade, Mega Lucario, Mega Mawile, Mega Metagross, Mega Mewtwo X, Mega Mewtwo Y, and Mega Sharpedo.
It’s not clear why Niantic hasn’t added these Mega Evolutions to Pokemon GO yet, but we can hope they do so soon.
