Last of Us Part 2 Remastered Gets New Update

A new update for The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered fixes a Trophies issue, a few No Return bugs, and more.

As the mode that makes The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered so popular, the No Return fixes are a nice addition.

No Return lets fans of The Last of Us play as their favorite characters from Naughty Dog’s post-apocalyptic world, including lesser-known characters like Lev, Manny, and Yara as well as more important ones like Joel and Ellie.

By putting players through a series of scenarios that get harder as they go and restart the player’s run when they die, The Last of Us’ new mode uses the tried-and-true roguelike style.

Like in many games, No Return has had its share of bugs, some of which were fixed in the most recent update.

The first No Return bug fix in the update solves an issue that made the Trading Post only offer three options for users to buy, and the second fix fixes an issue that made Clickers get stuck on some maps.

Furthermore, the update fixes a general bug that prevented users from unlocking earned Trophies after importing their save data from the PlayStation 4.

Players were unable to melee during the story’s final battle, there was an animation issue when players were attacked while inside a work bench, and Abby’s bonus skins caused the weapons to act strangely during some cutscenes. These issues were all fixed with the update.

The update also maintains The Last of Us’ commitment to accessibility by addressing an issue that prevented the text-to-speech feature from reading out leader board positions.

Other than some small changes to the UI and sound that weren’t explained in detail, that’s all there is to Patch 1.1.2.

But things look good for The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered now that an exciting rumor has spread through its community.

According to a leaker, The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered is coming to PC and will receive an announcement at some point in April.

The leaker also claimed that there will be a longer than usual delay between the announcement and the port’s release, so PC gamers may have to wait a while before they can enjoy Naughty Dog’s well-known game.

Notably, none of this has been officially confirmed, so users should try to ignore the rumor for now.

In the mean time, PlayStation players keep discovering new things about The Last of Us 2, like when one player recently found a previously unknown part of the dialogue between two Seraphites.

In the conversation that is simple to miss, the cult members can switch between playing the roles of a Seraphite veteran and a rookie.
