Since its introduction in the original Modern Warfare (2007) with the “All Ghillied Up” mission in the Campaign to its inclusion in Modern Warfare 2 (2022), players have been eager to dress their operators in camouflaged outfit.
The Ghillie Suit looks like a grassy hedge and provides good visual concealment when the player lies down.
I’m well aware of how effective the Ghillie Suit is in concealing your location from enemy players due to its appearance,
enabling you to blend in seamlessly with the environment. When MW2 first came out, players had a tough time getting their hands on the iconic gear.
Initially, the Ghillie Suit could only be obtained through a promotional offer, but now there are multiple ways to get it.

Activision has teamed up to offer a special deal: buy Jack Links products and unlock rewards such as the Ghillie Suit and other cool items.
If you’re interested in adding those rewards to your collection, here’s how to get the Jack Links Gillie Suit and items in Modern Warfare 2.
We’ll ensure you leave with something in hand.
This program is a collaboration between Jack Link’s and Call of Duty.
What’s great is that along with the suit, you also receive 2x XP and in-game items such as an emblem, a calling card, and a charm.

How to Unlock Jack Link’s Ghillie Suit in CoD MW2
To get the Ghillie Suit in CoD multiplayer, players must buy the “Overgrown” CoD Store bundle.
The bundle was launched alongside season one in November 2022 for Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2.
The operator is seen wearing the Ghillie suit, officially named Clearwater.
The Overgrown bundle includes five additional items and costs 2,000 CoD points.
In my opinion, the bundle is worth it only if you’re interested in the Ghille Suit, as the other items may not be as valuable as those in other bundles.
Inside, you’ll find two weapon blueprints with a grassy camo, an emblem, a sticker, and a weapon charm.
If you’re interested, you can also purchase the Overgrown Two bundle in MW2 along with the Overgrown bundle.
The Overgrown Two bundle includes an Operator skin that looks like the Ghillie Suit, just like the first bundle.
The new skin for the operator is named “Ghillie Monster” and is designed for the Konig operator.
- Locate Jack Links products. You should check out Walmart; it’s a great option. Choosing any Jack Links product is fine as long as the packaging features the official Modern Warfare 2 promotional art.
- Purchase 1 to 4 packages of Jack Links products. The Jack Links promotion has been divided into four tiers, each offering a more significant reward as you progress. Let’s say you redeem a code and get the Tier 1 reward, an animated emblem. To get the Jack Links Ghillie Suit, you’ll have to use four codes, each from a different Jack Links product.
- Redeem your codes. Sign in to your account on the official website of Modern Warfare 2. Please provide each code individually. Once you redeem the fourth code, you’ll unlock the Jack Links Ghillie Suit. Aside from getting some cosmetic items, you can also gather double-XP tokens for each code you enter once you’ve unlocked the first four tiers. When you decide to consume Jack Links products, you’ll at least receive a decent reward. Just a heads up: the promotion will be ending at midnight on October 31, 2022.
How to find CoD Bundles not listed in the store
Looking for a Ghillie Suit bundle like both Overgrown versions?
They might not be available in the store right now.
No need to worry; you’ll easily find them based on the specific characters the bundles are related to.
To get the Clearwater Operator Skin, head over to the character Chuy and choose them.
Once you do that, a list of skins will be displayed, allowing you to locate the “Clearwater” skin and purchase the overgrown bundle.
To get the Overgrown 2 bundle, head to Konig in the Operator menu and follow the same steps as before, but this time for the “Ghillie Monster” skin.
Benefits of Using a Ghillie Suit in MW2 & Warzone 2
The Ghillie Suit is a top-choice skin for MW2 or Warzone 2 because it can be difficult to spot when lying down.
Being stealthy and taking out enemies without being noticed can be a powerful strategy.

Other bundles with a Ghille Suit: MW2 Raid bundles
Players have the option to purchase the Overgrown bundle, as well as the season one and season two Raid bundles in MW2.
Both Raid bundles were launched alongside the season one and season two updates,
showcasing Gaz and Captain Price in the iconic Ghillie suit.
In the first season of Raid Bundle, Gaz is seen in a skin named “Grass Ops,” and
Price has a separate skin called “All Ghillied Up,” a nod to the original mission that popularized the suit in CoD.
If players are interested in obtaining either of these Operator skins, they will have to finish the corresponding Raid Episode.
To acquire the Ghillie Suit from the season one Raid bundle,
you must finish the first Raid episode for the first bundle and the second Raid episode for the second bundle.
To find these raid episodes, head to the game mode selection in MW2.
After finishing the first or second Raid episode, you have the option to buy the season one or season two Raid bundle to get the Ghillie Suit skin.
For instance, by finishing the initial Raid Episode and purchasing the season one Raid Bundle, you’ll unlock Gaz’s Grass Ops skin.
When you buy the bundle, you’ll only have access to the other available items.
My suggestion is to start by completing all of the raids.
Each bundle is priced at 2,000 CoD Points and includes an extra skin for Gaz or Price, two weapon blueprints, and a few other cosmetics.
Before the release of MW2, players had the opportunity to participate in the Jack Links promotion to receive a different version of the Ghillie Suit known as “Sasquatch,”
but that promotion is no longer available.
Maybe Infinity Ward will come out with more bundles that include a version of the classic camouflage suit.
Is it still possible to get the Sasquatch Reyes Operator skin in MW2?
Players cannot receive the skin outside of the offer.
You won’t find an alternate bundle that includes it for now.
Although the Sasquatch skin was similar to other Ghillie suits in the game, it was still a nice one to add to your collection.
How to get the Ghillie Suit in DMZ
Regrettably, DMZ fans won’t find any particular methods to acquire a Ghillie suit solely through playing DMZ.
If you want to equip a Ghillie Suit in the extraction-based mode,
you’ll have to purchase one from the store or finish Raid Episodes and then purchase the related bundles.
If you primarily play in the DMZ, getting a bundle with a Ghillie suit is worth it.
The Ghillie Suits work great for setting up ambushes on enemy teams at extraction points or near high-traffic areas, especially on Al Mazrah.
It’s a breeze to conceal yourself in bushes or other shrubbery without being noticed by enemies.
With all the knowledge on acquiring a Ghillie suit, you’re all set to jump back into action and leave your mark on the battlefield in DMZ and Modern Warfare 2.
