This guide will be incredibly helpful! The introduction of the Barter system for Warzone 2 DMZ Season 3 has brought a new level of usefulness to various items, allowing players to trade them in for more valuable commodities at the Buy Station.
Although many players can go through multiple games without needing to trade, there are a few missions where bartering becomes necessary.
This is the case with the mission Left High and Dry, where you’ll need to acquire a Skeleton Key.
Left High and Dry is a Tier 2 Story Mission for the Redacted faction, which includes three objectives to complete.
In order to successfully accomplish this mission, you’ll need to acquire a Skeleton Key through trading.
Once you have the key, you can proceed to unlock the Sniper Team’s Hideout located in Ahkdar Village.
Your final objective is to retrieve the Cartel Dossier from inside the hideout.
By completing this task, you will receive the Join Us emblem, 15,000 XP, and unlock the third set of missions for the Redacted faction.
Trading For A Skeleton Key in Left High and Dry Mission

The initial and possibly the most difficult part of the Left High and Dry mission requires you to acquire a Skeleton Key by trading on either Al Mazrah, Ashika Island, or Building 21.
Introducing Skeleton Keys, a fresh addition to DMZ for the Season 3 update.
These powerful items have the ability to unlock any locked area across all exclusion zones.
Trading for a Skeleton Key is possible on every map, but it’s worth noting that the Barter recipe varies across each exclusion zone.
All three methods to obtaining a Skeleton Key can be quite challenging, but there is one method that is relatively straightforward.
You can trade a GPU for one over on Al Mazrah. GPUs are not commonly found, but you may come across them in computers, Supply Drops, and the Weapon Lockers at Tsuki Castle.
However, keep in mind that you will need a Secure Backpack to transport a GPU from Ashika Island to Al Mazrah.
After gathering all the necessary items, head over to the nearest Buy Station and use the Barter system to exchange them for a Skeleton Key.
Unlocking The Sniper Team’s Hideout
To accomplish the second objective, you’ll need to use a Skeleton Key to unlock the Sniper Team’s Hideout.
The Sniper Team’s Hideout can be found in Ahkdar Village, specifically on the top floor of a building.
It is situated across the courtyard on the west side of this location.
Make your way to the Sniper Team’s Hideout and use a Skeleton Key to successfully finish the second objective.
Finding & Extracting The Cartel Dossier
Now, in order to successfully finish Left High and Dry, you’ll need to locate and retrieve the Cartel Dossier.
Once you’re inside the Sniper Team’s Hideout, keep an eye out for the dossier resting on a wooden table near the entrance on the right side.
Remember to safely store the Cartel Dossier in your backpack before exploring the surrounding area for any additional items you may be interested in.
Just need to successfully exfiltrate with the Cartel Dossier to complete the Tier 2 Redacted Story Mission.
