Number Of Players In A Match Of DMZ Ashika Island

In the second season of Call of Duty: Warzone, players had the opportunity to explore a fresh DMZ map named Ashika.

In comparison to Al Mazrah, Ashika Island is much smaller and has fewer regions.

Ashika continues to offer a diverse range of areas of interest, including locked key locations and Dead Drops, despite its reduced size.

Due to its smaller size, Ashika offers players the opportunity for more intense action and conflict, whether it’s against other players and squads or hostile NPCs scattered across the island.

Ashika is a more compact map, which makes it easier to navigate.

In order to achieve success in the DMZ, players must be able to outlast their rivals and complete objectives, even if they come across other players along the way.

Because of this, a lot of people are interested in knowing the number of players in a match of DMZ Ashika Island.

The Warzone DMZ mode is populated with AI combatants that can disrupt your looting and extraction missions.

However, it’s worth noting that you’ll also encounter other player-controlled operators.

If you’ve attempted to join a DMZ game, you probably know that squads can have a maximum of three players.

However, it’s not just a one-on-one battle for the rewards.

Player Count for Al Mazrah DMZ

Just to clarify, the maximum DMZ lobby size is 66. This means that you’ll be up against hundreds of AI and 63 other players. Quite the challenge!

When these players form a squad of three, it means that there are 21 full squads that you might encounter during your Al Mazrah adventures.

Player Count for Building 21 DMZ

Season One Reloaded introduces the Building 21 experience for DMZ, a thrilling map that offers non-stop combat for players seeking action-packed battles.

As a result, the player count is much lower compared to Al Mazrah.

Although it may not seem apparent due to the mix of real players and AI, the final tally will undoubtedly surprise you.

When it comes to the number of real players you’ll be facing, it’s limited to a maximum of 12.

This means there will be a total of 4 squads, which is significantly smaller compared to the large-scale Al Mazrah.

Player Count for Ashika Island DMZ

When you dive into the new Ashika Island map introduced with Season 2, you’ll quickly realize that this region is considerably smaller than Al Mazrah.

The decrease in the number of players in matches has led to smaller lobbies compared to those in Al Mazrah.

There are a total of 18 players on Ashika Island, allowing for a maximum of 6 squads with 3 players each.

Overall, this is a significant decrease, but it is somewhat consistent with the player totals in Building 21.

On Ashika, players will find a more limited range of potential spawn sites due to the smaller available space.

Currently, there are only six known spawn spots on Ashika, which is significantly fewer than Al Mazrah.

The Ashika spawn locations are:

  • Beach Club
  • Town Center
  • Lighthouse (North of Oganikku)
  • Water Treatment
  • Shipwreck
  • Port Ashika

Players may have more interactions with each other as the map size has been reduced.

This is because there are fewer spawn spots and less physical space to explore on the globe.

Players should always be ready for a fight, whether they’re heading to one of these key hubs or venturing deeper into the centre of Ashika.

Player Count for Vondel DMZ

In Vodel, the new map introduced with Season 4, despite its larger size compared to Ashika Island, the squad count remains unchanged.

In a match with a full lobby, you’ll come across a total of 6 squads, with a maximum of 18 players in total.

Just a friendly reminder, you have the option to enter the DMZ alone or with a partner.

So, if you choose to go in as a group of three, you’ll have a better chance of taking out any solo players quickly.

In addition, because of the exfil functionality, certain opposing squads may choose to make a swift extraction, resulting in a significant decrease in the player count.

Here you got everything you need to know about the number of players in DMZ.

Now, go out there, secure the loot, and make your way to the exfil point to protect that valuable contraband!
