New The Sims 4 Expansion Leaks Online With Release Date

An avid dataminer unearthed some promotional materials that appear to be authentic and provide information about the next expansion pack for The Sims 4.

According to the leak, The Sims 4 players will be able to purchase Lovestruck, the next add-on for the game, in July 2024.

Since its initial release in 2014, Maxis’ hit life sim has undergone fifteen major expansions. For Rent, which debuted in December 2023, was the most recent expansion pack for The Sims 4 to hit the market.

The Sims 4: Lovestruck Expansion Announcement May Be Coming Soon

With Lovestruck, a romantic-themed expansion that will hit the market on July 25, Maxis now intends to follow up on the release of that expansion.

The dataminer Anadius, who recently shared a number of promotional materials detailing the unannounced downloadable content (DLC), including its key art and storefront description, on Twitter, has recently obtained some newly surfaced information that points to this conclusion.

Through the filing of a copyright claim, Electronic Arts was able to remove the images that had been leaked from Anadius’s initial tweet; however, this did not occur before their mirrors began to circulate on digital platforms.

Lovestruck pre-orders are scheduled to go live on June 27 according to the product description that was leaked. If the expansion will be announced prior to that date is currently unclear.

There will be no difference in price between Lovestruck and any other expansion pack for The Sims 4, according to Anadius, which is $39.99.

A number of early adopter bonuses, including a Cry Me A River Eyeliner, Herbert Heart Plushie, and Basic Breakup Double Bed, will be given to anyone who purchases the upcoming add-on before September 5th, according to the same source.

The Sims 4: Lovestruck Will Reportedly Introduce New Romance Skill

Lovestruck will introduce new intimate interactions like cuddling in bed and seductive dancing, according to the illegally leaked product description.

An additional component of the package will be a dating application called Cupid’s Corner, as well as a new world for The Sims 4 called Ciudad Enamorada, which literally translates to “city in love.”

In Ciudad Enamorada, there will be three neighbourhoods, each of which will be geared towards activities that are romantic in nature.

Both a new Romance Consultant career and a Romantic Satisfaction system that includes “turn-ons” and “turn-offs” that determine how Sims are attracted to one another will be included in the development of the game.

Moreover, the addition of a new Romance skill is mentioned in the product description.

The way things are shaping up, Lovestruck will primarily function as an alternative to a number of The Sims 4 romance mods that are extremely popular.

Some fans have expressed their approval of the concept of a romance-focused expansion pack, while others have expressed their opinion that things like the Romance skill and cuddling in bed ought to have been included in the base game a long time ago.
