Presenting the codes and upgrades for the Ice Staff in COD: Black Ops 3: Zombies Chronicles.
How to find the Staff of Ice?
To create the Staff of Ice, you need to locate three separate parts of the staff:
the elemental crystal, the gramophone, and the specific records to enter the Crazy Place and the lower levels of the Excavation Site.
You can locate the staff parts in digspots while playing during a snowy round.
Snow usually falls on Rounds 2–5, on Round 10, and on various rounds following that.
You can find one staff part in the starting area (spawn to the workshop), one in the middle area of the map, and one near the church.
That was a piece of cake.
Time to track down the blue record—it’s hanging out near Generator 2.
tucked away inside the tank station on a shelf. When it comes to the gramophone, you can always find it spawning on the floor inside the Excavation Site.
At last, the way to reach the lower levels is located outside, near the Excavation Site.
The elemental gem is found inside the Crazy Place.
To gain access, you need to have obtained the blue record and the gramophone.
Locate the entrance to the Ice Tunnel close to the church,
where you can also find one of the staff parts. It’s a good idea to take care of both tasks at once.
When you reach the Crazy Place, you’ll find a pedestal illuminated in a blue glow with the elemental gem rising from it.
Remember, the gem can only be collected if the Crazy Place was entered through the tunnel corresponding to the gem’s element. In this situation, it must be the Ice Tunnel.
Once you have all the necessary components, head to the lowest level of the Excavation Site and assemble the staff on the blue pedestal.
Ice Staff Code and Upgrade Guide in COD: Black Ops 3: Zombies Chronicles
After acquiring the Ice Staff and returning to the Crazy Place, you must solve a riddle to start upgrading the staff.
Go to the area with floating rocks bearing symbols above you and a pillar with dots on it.
Match the dots on the pillar with the symbols and use the Ice Staff to shoot them in the correct order.
Remember, the code changes every game, so pay attention to the pillar.
Below is a map to help you understand the symbols and identify the ones you need.
Once you’ve entered the correct sequence based on the randomized code,
locate three tombstones and shoot them with a weapon other than the Ice Staff.
One tombstone is near the soul chest behind Juggernog.
The second one is inside a giant’s footprint behind it, next to a body on a stake at the edge of the trench.
The third tombstone is by the tank station.
Climb onto the tank and spot the broken robot outside the boundaries to the left of the downed robot.
Head over to the mound and descend underground.
Once there, use the handles located around the stairs to rotate the large rings on the amplification device.
Align them all to be blue in color to match the ice staff.
Proceed to the bottom, peer into the center of the rings, and use the ice staff to shoot the floating blue ball.
Return to the crazy place and locate the ice staff holder.
Insert the staff and eliminate zombies in the vicinity to charge it to maximum power.
Once you have defeated approximately 25 zombies, retrieve your fully upgraded ice staff.
Head to the mound and descend underground.
Once there, use the grips surrounding the stairs to revolve the amplification device’s big rings.
Align them all to be blue to match the ice staff.
Proceed to the bottom, peek into the centre of the rings, and use the ice staff to fire the blue floating ball.
Return to the weird place and find the ice staff holder.
Insert the staff and kill any zombies in the vicinity to charge it to full power.
Once you’ve vanquished about 25 zombies, get your fully enhanced ice staff.
How to upgrade the Staff of Ice to the UII’s Arrow
Now that you’ve obtained the Staff of Ice, you’ll undoubtedly want to strengthen it with Ull’s Arrow.
To upgrade, the player must first solve the mystery located at the Crazy Place.
Above the portal, there are six panels of floating stones with symbols engraved into them.
On the wall, there is a blue ice panel with dots in different designs.
To solve the puzzle, the player must follow the pattern on the blue ice panel on the wall to discover which floating stone panel to shoot with the Staff of Ice.
Be warned: the code varies every time, so you’ll need to study the chart below and learn how to read the pillar.
Once you’ve entered the right sequence (you’ll know because the stones flip over when blasted in the correct order),
you’ll need to locate three tombstones and shoot them with a weapon other than the Ice Staff.
The first may be located behind Juggernog near the soul chest,
the second just behind it within one of the giant’s footprints (near a body impaled on a stake), and the third near the tank station—just hop up on the tank and look to the left of the downed robot.
Return underground once you’ve completed that small task.
The grips surrounding the stairs will allow you to rotate the amplification device’s huge rings.
When you arrange them up, make sure they’re all blue to match the Staff of Ice.
When you get to the bottom, check inside the middle of the rings for a floating blue ball and fire it with the ice staff.
You’ll need to return to the Crazy Place. Go to the Ice Staff Holder and place it inside.
By killing adjacent zombies, you will charge the staff to full capacity.
After approximately 25 zombies, your staff will be fully charged.
When you take it up, you’ll get a completely enhanced Staff of Ice.
