Toy-Gi-Oh! There is a substantial list of eleven different cards that have been affected by the new update to the game’s banlist, which will be released in July, according to Master Duel.
Over the course of the past few months, the popular digital trading card game developed by Konami has seen a number of significant updates, which have added new cards and content to the online environment.
With the release of two new Selection Packs in June, Master Duel introduced a new limited-time event that was based on a popular retro format.
These packs included both new cards and reprints of popular staples. The next changes to the game’s banlist have now been revealed by Konami.
Konami has consistently added new changes to the “Forbidden and Limited List” of Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel since the game’s initial release in early 2022.
It is typical for the banlist of the game to receive a new update every month. This update will typically target some of the most powerful cards in Master Duel and will also bring back older cards to the game.
When it comes to Master Duel banlist releases, Konami has even been known to implement massive and far-reaching changes, with some updates currently affecting more than twenty cards at the same time.
Numerous popular cards appear to be impacted by the next Master Duel banlist.
Late last week, Konami officially announced the new official banlist update for Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel. The update detailed the changes for eleven distinct cards.
Both “Kaiser Colosseum” and “Catapult Turtle” will be banned from the competitive format of the game as a result of the new changes. Both of these cards will be removed forever.
Catapult Turtle was recently banned in the Japanese OCG because it was an enabler for “first-turn kill” decks.
Kaiser Colosseum, on the other hand, was a popular floodgate card that limited the opponent’s ability to summon and summon monsters.
The “Summon Limit” on the floodgate Trap card was set to one copy, and this was the only card that was newly limited.

During the July update to Master Duel, the Semi-Limited section featured four cards that were both set to two copies per deck.
For example, “Bonfire,” “Rescue-ACE Air Lifter,” and “Purrelyly” each lost a copy of their respective cards, while “Divine Arsenal AA-ZEUS – Sky Thunder” was the only card to move up the banlist from one copy per deck.
With Master Duel’s update, four distinct cards, including “Majespecter Unicorn – Kirin” and “Yata-Garasu,” among others, will be completely removed from the banlist.
The new banlist update for Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel will take effect on July 11th.
Numerous popular decks have been impacted by the plethora of changes included in the most recent Master Duel update, which also provides hints about additional cards that will be released in the future.
The powerful “Snake-Eye” strategy suffered a number of smaller occurrences, such as the loss of a copy of Bonfire and the loss of one Air Lifter for the popular “Rescue-ACE” variant. Moving “Majespecter Unicorn – Kirin” to the Unlimited status may also be a hint at the upcoming release of new cards in Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel.
This could be a possible means of teasing the addition of the “Majespecter” cards from Phantom Nightmare to the Trading Card Game. The new banlist update for Master Duel will attempt to alter the metagame of the card game going forward.
