World of Warcraft Player Completes Dungeon in 50 Seconds

A Monk player completed the Temple of the Jade Serpent in just 50 seconds, giving speedrunning in World of Warcraft new life in Mists of Pandaria Remix.

Players of World of Warcraft have really enjoyed Mists of Pandaria Remix, despite the fact that it is only a temporary game mode. It’s a rewarding experience for any World of Warcraft player, especially as you get ready for The War Within, from levelling up alts to grinding for cosmetics.

Not only does Mists of Pandaria Remix have unique cosmetic rewards, but it’s also easy to get the essential currency.

There is a unique format for Mists of Pandaria Remix, though, and one of the best things about it is that it puts fun first.

Players in World of Warcraft have been able to win the game in unimaginable ways, such as by killing important NPCs like Baine Bloodhoof or exceeding the number cap on a Guardian Druid’s shield.

Because of how scaling works in Mists of Pandaria Remix, it was only a matter of time before someone tried speedrunning the infamous dungeons from the expansion.

Cemix, a Monk player, did a Temple of the Jade Serpent run in 50 seconds and put the video on their YouTube channel. Two things about Cenix’s plan are very smart: they used a trial account to keep their Monk at Level 20, and they used a Cloak of Infinite Potential with over 10,000 threads that scaled well.

Because the ways to farm Bronze in Mists of Pandaria Remix are the same at Level 20 and Level 70, Cemix was able to make their Monk much stronger while keeping the enemies weak.

However, Cemix thinks that a Demon Hunter or even a Druid might be able to do better in the Temple of the Jade Serpent or other Mists of Pandaria dungeons, even though their time of 50 seconds is impressive.

With its ranged movement, the Demon Hunter class in World of Warcraft is the most flexible. It’s possible to skip the Temple of the Jade Serpent and go straight to the third boss.

Because of this, a Demon Hunter could probably finish the dungeon in 30 seconds or less. Cemix has even thought about levelling up a Demon Hunter alt for this reason.

Mists of Pandaria Remix Characters Will Carry Over to The War Within

Mists of Pandaria Remix ends on August 19, which means that World of Warcraft players only have a short time to enjoy the insane power that the Cloak of Infinite Potential gives them.

One of the main reasons Blizzard set up the event in the first place is that any alt level led as a Remix character will carry over into Warbands in The War Within.

A Remix character’s level is the only thing that carries over after Mists of Pandaria Remix, which means that their inventory will be wiped.
