Eren Yeager
Eren is the main protagonist of the show and witnessed his mother being eaten alive by Titan who attacks, then by breaching the wall prepared to save humanity.

Mikasa Ackerman

Armin Arlert
Armin is also a childhood of Eren and Mikasa and one of the important characters like Mikasa in the series.
Although he is physically weak high intelligence and strategic genius make him an invaluable asset. And later in the series, he took the power of one Titans he fought and become a Colossal Titan in the series.
