The volume was shipped in April 2022. A two-volume side story of the manga has been released, with the first volume shipping on August 18.
The manga was first serialized on Twitter in 2018, and later on the Mato Grosso website by East Press.
The manga is set in a peaceful rural town, where yōkai, humans, and gods coexist. It beautifully portrays their carefree, heartwarming, and occasionally enigmatic lives.
In the manga’s first story, a 20-year-old cat named Buchio undergoes a surprising transformation into a mythical Nekomata creature. Buchio is concerned about the sudden transformation into a yōkai creature. With the help of Yuri, a shape-shifting fox, they enroll in a “Bakegaku” academy for creatures.
