The Promised Neverland Season 3: Everything We Know

The anime ‘The Promised Neverland’ is based on a Japanese manga story written by Kaiu Shirai and drawn by Posuka Demizu.

It tells the story of how a long, terrible war between humans and demons ended when they agreed to live on different worlds. Some people were left behind so that the demons could eat them and their children.

The show starts in 2045, which is about a thousand years after the pact. With the help of some human families, the demons have set up fields where they raise human children to eat.

Grace Field, Norman, Ray, and Emma find out the truth on one of these farms and then run away with their brothers.

The first season, which was very good, ran from January 10 to March 29, 2019. It was praised by many critics, and the show was picked up for a second season.

When it started showing, though, most people didn’t like it. If you’re asking if there will be a third season of “The Promised Neverland,” here’s what we know.

The Promised Neverland Season 3 Release Date

There are not currently any plans to release another season of The Promised Neverland, either as a redo of the second season or an expansion covering skipped arcs from the series. Season 2 of “The Promised Neverland” started on January 8, 2021, and ended on March 26, 2021, after 11 shows and a special.

The series was made by CloverWorks Studios. Mamoru Kanbe was the director, and Kaiu Shirai was the main writer.

The Promised Neverland Season 3

As for season 3, it’s not likely to happen because the show has already shown all of the manga’s chapters. In fact, the last few minutes of season 2’s end showed parts from the manga’s last chapter.

The makers crammed 144 chapters (15 volumes) into 11 episodes of season 2, and they often skipped important storylines like the Goldy Pond Battle.

The second season is, as expected, awkward and hard to follow, especially for people who haven’t read the manga series.

Even manga readers haven’t done much better, even though some new elements have been added to fill in the obvious plot holes left by the missing parts.

When you think about how Shirai was involved in making season 2, the terrible artistic choices that were made make even less sense.

In the season 2 end, a slideshow goes over several story lines. Fans weren’t happy about this, which makes sense, so they took to social media to show how upset they were.

The first season of “The Promised Neverland” is one of the most famous and well-liked anime of the past few years.

The sharp drop in quality between the first and second seasons is almost never seen in the history of anime. Still, it has some similarities to shows like ‘Sword Art Online’ and ‘Tokyo Ghoul.’

In light of all this, the best way to make more anime in the world of “The Promised Neverland” is to give it a proper reboot like “Sailor Moon,” “Fullmetal Alchemist,” “Fruits Baskets,” or CloverWorks’ own “Horimiya.” There’s also a chance that the source material could be turned into an anime movie.

There are several manga stories that stand alone. Those can give you ideas for your own projects. Shirai and Demizu might decide to go back to the world to write a sequel series, which could lead to a sequel anime show.

Will The Promised Neverland Get a Full Series Remake?

The Promised Neverland is unlikely to get a third season unless it is remade as a full series. The chances of this happening aren’t as slim as the chances of a new season, though.

Several series have been chosen for full series remakes. Fullmetal Alchemist and Trigun are two of the most well-known. The more famous a series is, the more likely this is to happen.

Thanks to its manga, The Promised Neverland still has a fair amount of popularity. The only problem is that it usually takes a few years for a new adaptation to be thought about.

This means that there won’t be any new animated material for Promised Neverland any time soon.
