The Legend Of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom – Every Koltin Location

It may bring you back to the weird monster-loving NPC named Kiltons you met in games such as Breath of the Wild.

Well, in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom; it is finally possible to get acquainted with Koltin, the baby brother, of the family.

While Koltin has a relative interest in everything related to the Satori, he has an intense passion for it. That is so obsessed that Koltin’s purpose in life is to become a Satori himself.

This is the first time you meet Koltin at Woodland Stable in the Eldin area together with his brother Kilton. Later, once you talk to him, he admits he wants to become a Satori and, perhaps, obtain Bubbul Gems to do it.

From here Koltin starts wandering through the world map in search of even more gems for his strange mutate. This first meeting is very important because it begins his search and the shop where you can exchange Bubbul Gems for other interesting rewards.

Koltin’s Traveling Locations

At Woodland Stable, you first meet Koltin, but the man goes to several other places instantly and he does that at night. Follow the movement of the flywheel wall painting on top of which his hot air balloon is flying over at a distance. The following locations are where you can find Koltin in Tears of the Kingdom:

Eldin Mountains

After their first meeting, Koltin may run off to a location in northeastern Death Mountain. In this area, you can identify his hot-air balloon and it is also on a high plain with many caves to hunt Bubbulfrogs. It is advisable to get as many Bubbul Gems as you can then go back and trade with Koltin.

Hebra Mountains

After that, Koltin moves to the freezing place called Hebra, to the area close to the Pikida Stonegrove. Cover yourself and your vehicle appropriately as this is a glaciated extremely cold and non-friendly environment. Koltin’s store is still the same as they had monster masks and armor for your Bubbul Gems.

Akkala Highlands

Afterwards, he is discovered in the Akkala Highlands, a location in northeastern Hyrule. This is actually in a somewhat deserted region but this is the perfect hunting ground for Bubbulfrogs. Koltin’s balloon can be seen in the Akkala Skyview Tower allowing players easier navigation to find him and exchange their Bubbul Gems.

Gerudo Highlands

Koltin also goes to the Gerudo Highlands but as you can see in the screenshot below, this place is very hot so you need heatproof clothing. There are more gems in that place; there are several Bubbulfrogs in the desert caves, you can get gems as long as you are around here.

Ways Of Enhancing Bubbul Gem Trading

If possible, try to grab as many Bubbul Gems as you can from the different caves found within the world map when you meet Koltin. Every region has its number of Bubbulfrogs and you’ll be rewarded with monster-related items such as Lynel masks and Hinox masks once you reach Koltin. These items provide other advantages during your missions and you can, for instance, bypass certain foes unnoticed.
