It is possible to distinguish chasms because they secrete the red and black substance called the Gloom. Chasms are available in several strategic regions in our main landscape, Hyrule connecting the Surface with Depths and letting link entry the areas belonging to each of them.
To go into Depths though just jump into a Chasm and boost, although always try to break your falling speed by gliding before you reach the bottom.
Moreover, there are gloomy and slick walls of the Chasm: do not touch the walls to slip through them.
Akkala Region

The Akkala region features several significant chasms that lead into the Depths:
East Akkala Plains Chasm
It is located to the east of Akkala, next to places such as the Rist Peninsula or Sinatanika Shrine. He takes its travelers to the Wellspring of Power and the Akinatanis Lightroot in Depths.
Lomei Labyrinth Chasm
In the Akkala Sea, this chasm west of the Igashuk Shrine on the surface is linked with the Kuhsagi Lightroot below.
Skull Lake Chasm

South Akkala Plains Chasm

Central Hyrule Region

Chasms in Central Hyrule are conveniently located for players exploring the heart of the kingdom:
Deku Tree Chasm
This chasm can be found in Korok Forest; and slides down to an arena in the Depths.
Elma Knolls Chasm
To the north of the Hyrule Castle parting in a chasm leads to the Netamnet Lightroot underground making the path what appears from above.
Hyrule Castle Chasm
The game, guides players from Hyrule Castle straight down to the Depths, with the landmark of Camobatures Lightroom.
Great Plateau Region

The Great Plateau, a prominent area from Breath of the Wild, also has several notable chasms:
Great Plateau East Chasm
Eastern Abbey, is a shaft that goes down to Depths at the Great Abandoned Central Mine.
Great Plateau North Chasm
Located near the Kyokugon shrine it connects to the Nogukoyk Lightroot in the underworld.
Great Plateau South Chasm
Located near Mount Hylia, this chasm is linked to Hylia Canyon Mine and Koradat Lightroot at the Deps.
Depth Exploration Tips

When exploring chasms:
Be Prepared
Masses of Depths are deadly because they have numerous hostile creatures and poorly suitable landscapes. Make sure that you have enough health this time round and enough resources.
Landmarks
Reliance on surface landmarks; shrines for Depth location identification and Lightroom for other places in Depth.
Lightroom
These supply both light and hasten access points to facilitate their move around the place.
Handling such gaps in Tears of the Kingdom enriches the game’s experience, broadening it in terms of gameplay both upwards and forwards, between the game’s famed surface and its mysterious Depths. This kind of exploration is vertically apparent in the game and makes it outstanding.
