Several gamers have reportedly been hooked on the popular online action RPG called The First Descendant. Choosing the correct weapons is one of the game’s skills/strategies.
This leads to a decrease in the chances of a successful execution of a battle in combat since this can have a great impact on your combat performance.
In this article, we will consider a rating of the most effective arms in The First Descendant. This way at least you will have a clue on which of the game weapons are the best to use and employ to your advantage.
S-Tier Weapons: The Best of the Best
At the top of the list are what is known as S-Tier weapons. These are the most powerful and reliable weapons that one can have in the entire game. If you manage to get one of these, you will stand a better chance to Vanquish your opponent in combat.
1. Dreadnought
- Type: Sniper Rifle
- Why It’s Great: The Dreadnought is great long-range and very capable of dealing a ton of damage depending on its class type. This is especially good for use by gamers who prefer to take out their opponents from a distance. As few as 1-2 shots, the Dreadnought can easily take out even the most powerful of enemies thanks to its ranged accuracy as well as the chances to score critical hits.
2. Thunderbolt
- Type: Assault Rifle
- Why It’s Great: In view of everything, the Thunderbolt is rather good weapon. It has a nice firing rate, moderate accuracy to it, and also does decent damage. And it’s useful and versatile in any situation of fighting with enemies, be it a single powerful enemy or a group of enemies.
3. Oblivion
- Type: Rocket Launcher
- Why It’s Great: If you wish to destroy the enemy base then nothing can be more effective than Oblivion. This rocket launcher can cause huge losses and might be the reason to wipe out groups of enemies in rather short time. Essentially appropriate for taking out opponents clad in heavy armour or when fighting many opponents at once.
A-Tier Weapons: Strong and Reliable
One of the best weapons when it comes to energies is none other than the Vortex Cannon. It is perfect for more complicated cases because it is especially effective against those characters who have shields .
4. Vortex Cannon
- Type: Energy Weapon
- Why It’s Great: Unlimited in additions, it is a great weapon when it comes to energy such as the Vortex Cannon. I would highly recommend it for more extensive troubles as it is weak against those who use shields.
5. Specter
- Type: Shotgun
- Why It’s Great: As with the long range, the Spectre is not bad at all when fired close up. It will suit those who prefer using close quarters as you will be able to hurt your enemies a lot at this range. Though most adversaries can probably be wiped out in the blink of an eye given the weapon’s capabilities, sustained fire even with full auto as exemplified by the next weapon may also be possible.
6. Frostbite
- Type: Submachine Gun
- Why it’s Great: Frostbite is a submachine gun with a high rate of fire that is particularly effective in decelerating and freezing enemies. It is perfect for managing the field and ejecting the adversaries while you or your team handles them.
B-Tier Weapons: Good, But Not Great
While they are not as powerful or flexible as weapons in higher tiers, B-tier weapons are still pretty good. They may fail under challenging conditions though they may be helpful at times mostly so when wielded by skilled personnel.
7. Ironclad
- Type: LMG (Light Machine Gun)
- Why it’s Great: Thus, Iron Clad is a great long range weapon, on account of the great amount of shots it contains. It is not quite as strong against harder enemies, however, because the weapon here does not pack the same power as higher quality weapons.
8. Echo
- Type: Pistol
- Why it’s Great: Echo is a good, albeit not outstanding sidearm companion with reasonable accuracy and damage. It works great for hand to hand combat but it is not sufficient enough to go up against stronger adversaries.
9. Riptide
- Type: Bow
- Why it’s Great: Riptide is suitable for gamers who love sneak kills as it is a good bow. It offers fairly good damage, however, in the more kinetic warfare that is characteristic in MOBA type of games, the gun is not as effective as it would want to be because of its slow firing rate and precision.
