Hello Everyone if you like sword, samurai or fighting or then you in for a treat today we have best sword fighting anime list download for you.
Some scenes in anime shows about sword fights make your heart beat faster.
If you like to fight with a sword and like battles, here is a list of samurai anime shows with great sword fights, great fight choreography, and epic battles.
On this list, there are some good examples of pure sword anime and a few that go too far.
These anime are full of action and i bet you will enjoy them.
Now, Let’s begin the list without wasting any more time.
27. Juni Taisen: Zodiac War
I still don’t know who the hero is (if there is one), and I don’t think you’ll find anyone to cheer for, since most of the people in the death game should die.
Well, the angel of death is ready for 11 of the 12 contestants, who all have names based on animals in the Chinese zodiac.
Juni Taisen won’t make you think too hard, but the light book that the anime is based on was written by Nishio Ishin, who also wrote the Monogatari series and Medaka Box. I mean, it will be fun at the very least.
Whether or not to watch: The show looks great, and I like the sword fights, but the characters and story are both shallow. I’ll keep doing it for a while longer in hopes that things will get better.
26. The Heroic Legend of Arslan
Arslan, a kind-hearted prince with limited sword skills, finds himself caught in a political battle when his kingdom is defeated by the Lusitanian enemy.
He escapes and must gather allies to reclaim his land.
This anime offers history, politics, sword fights, wars, and character growth.
It’s an exciting watch with a mix of adventure and political intrigue.
25. Joran The Princess of Snow and Blood
In an alternative 1931 where the Tokugawa dynasty is still in power, mercenaries hired by the Shogun to kill people who are against the government have made life in Japan very scary. Sawa, the main character of the show, was just a kid when her whole family was killed, and now she wants payback.
Before the story, the characters, and everything else, the most striking thing about Joran is the style. It looks really (but really) good, and every frame of the big dystopian city made me whistle in admiration.
I liked how the characters were drawn, how beautifully detailed the backgrounds were, the action scenes, and how complicated the relationships between the two sides were.
This is a sword anime with people who aren’t all good or all bad. Sawa, the main character, also did bad things to get revenge.
The biggest problem right now is that the fantasy part of Joran is taking over the good idea behind it. The show would have been a lot more popular if it didn’t have OP characters who make the whole thing seem less important.
24. Angolmois: Record of Mongol Invasion
Jinzaburou is a skilled swordsman with a high standing, or at least he was. Now he is a prisoner, and he and other prisoners are sent to the remote island of Tsushima. Instead of spending the rest of his life in peace behind bars, he finds out that Kublai Khan, the master of the Mongol Empire, wants him dead.
Khan has nothing personal against Jinzaburou, he doesn’t know him at all, but the Khan wants to add Japan to the collection of countries he conquered (he’s probably an otaku) and after the Japanese politely refused (twice) to accept a Mongolian identity card, he decided to do it Mongol-style; Tens of thousands of Chinese and Korean soldiers (who were under the control of the empire), and of course the Mongols themselves, are now making their way to Japan.
Those who think Angolmois is like the scary movie “300” are in for a pleasant treat, because it is nothing like that movie. Jinzaburou’s group is made up of people who have never carried a sword before and want to get as far north as possible, which is understandable.
Angolmois is a series about tactics more than anything else, and Jinzaburou is a smart man who also figures out how to fry an egg. Even though he is not a very nice person to talk to (maybe because his family was killed), he is the closest thing that the people of Tsushima and Japan have to hope.
Those of you who like a lot of blood will be glad to hear that the series is brutal: dozens of characters actually lose their heads. War is not a good thing, and the show does a lot to show that. From a historical point of view, the anime is, to put it simply, not true to life.
23. Hakuoki: Demon of the Fleeting Blossom
At the beginning of the story, a girl named Chizuru Yukimura goes to Kyoto to look for her missing father. When she got to the city, people with red eyes and a lot of saliva attacked her.
If there’s one thing we’ve learned from anime, it’s that you shouldn’t trust people with red eyes and a lot of spit.
Just when everything seems hopeless, a group of Shinsengumi men save her life in a miracle. Since the girl said she saw something that didn’t happen, the Shinsengumi members take her to their home, where they will decide whether or not to kill her.
Hakuouki tries to be everything: a romance, a drama, a horror story, and a sword-fighting anime with a bunch of bishounen characters.
But something goes wrong along the way, leaving us with something strange and uncertain. First of all, the “kill her or not” question is stupid.
The attempts at fun were also pretty stupid, and the way the characters interacted reminded me of how the characters in Gintama interacted with each other.
When the story starts to take shape, the anime will probably get better. But the first show scared me off for good. If the story still sounds interesting to you, try it, and don’t forget to let me know how it went.
