What I miss the most about The Sims 3 tubs is their unique character.
Every item, from the tiniest bathroom decoration to the priciest shower/tub, had a quirky backstory, inside joke, or bizarre, unrelated explanation attached to it.
The Sims 4 still retains that feature. However, few TS4 furniture items can compare to the level of chaos seen in TS3.
Since I can’t find much character in TS4 lore, I’ll rely on the visuals for that personal touch. Luckily, the Sims CC community is always prepared to provide.
If you’re looking to give your bathroom a unique flair, take a look at these fantastic showers and bathtubs that you can install at no cost!
Here are Some of The Best Sims 4 Bathtubs and Showers
10. Seven Bathtubs Set 1-2-3 by Blackgryffin

This vintage bathtub set is absolutely fabulous.
The concept is incredibly unique, and the resulting pieces are stunning one-of-a-kind items that are difficult to find elsewhere.
The tubs in this pack are straightforward, no-frills, and absolutely flawless.
Forget about burnished chrome and fancy, high-end water jets. This place is dominated by old wood, worn metal, and worked stone.
Each item in every set is unique and beautiful. These are all visually appealing options that would be great for photoset backdrops and themed builds.
You have the option to install one of the three sets based on your material preference, but I suggest getting all of them. They all appear fantastic.
My top picks are the graffiti tub in the Stone set, the gradient tub under the Metal set, and the woven-basket-like tub in the Wood set.
9. Bathroom Gemini – Bathtub by ung999

Departing from the avant-garde, ultra-modern, and high-tech bathroom furniture for a moment, we find the ung999’s Gemini Bathtub.
Isn’t it true that simplicity is often associated with beauty? Here’s the explanation.
This CC tub is simple and straightforward with no unusual attachments or custom designs. The standout feature is the adorable and functional shelf-like extension at the front, which resembles a nose.
There’s nothing out of the ordinary or flashy about it; it’s simply a very beautiful tub.
I really enjoy that.
The tub exudes a subtle elegance and finesse that sets it apart from the ordinary.
8. Bathroom Angi CC by ung999

Finally, another exceptional creation by ung999.
This bathroom set includes a clever bathtub and shower combo that you can download in full.
The first photo preview doesn’t reveal much. However, the pictures of each piece of furniture do.
This shower is a versatile, wall-mounted unit that can be easily positioned anywhere on the wall.
The bathtub is a straightforward yet stylish option that fits neatly under the main shower unit.
Avoid clipping, overlapping, or glitching. Simply activate bb.moveobjects and you’re all set! A shower tub that offers users the ability to customize to their liking.
You have the option to modify the color and texture combinations of the shower and tub, such as pairing a black marble tub with a white shower or a speckled pink tub with a rose gold shower, as well as adjusting the placement of the shower.
This exceeds what is typically provided by standard vanilla EA tubs!
7. Bathroom Zing: Shower by ung999

This shower has a minimalist design.
For those who enjoyed the Soho Shower, the Bathroom Zing Shower CC by ung999 is a great alternative to consider.
It’s essentially an open floor plan.
There are no doors, side panels, backsplash, or ceiling included with this shower. You have a modern, wall-mounted unit with a detachable shower head, a floating glass shelf for toiletries and other shower essentials, and a porcelain drain on the floor.
This shower can be placed against any wall, whether it’s in a corner or not, and it will function perfectly.
It’s a fantastic complement to any ultra-modern Sim house that incorporates sleek chrome and futuristic, cutting-edge technology.
6. Loft Bathroom—Shower by ShinoKCR

Leave frosted glass behind. Clean shower enclosures are the way to go. Most likely. This Loft Bathroom – Shower by ShinoKCR really captures that idea.
This CC shower enclosure easily attaches to any wall or corner, similar to the Bathroom Zing Shower.
Similar to the Bathroom Zing-Shower, the design reveals very little.
Shower walls and side panels are available to compensate for the lack of a backsplash. However, the glass panes are incredibly transparent, almost as if they weren’t even there. It’s worth noting that this shower’s charm lies in its uniqueness. It appears to resemble a high-end phone booth.
It could be to your liking or it might not be. There are not many showers similar to it, making this one a truly unique piece.
5. Dream Shower by pihe89

Realistically, wood is not the most suitable material for your bathroom.
It’s less waterproof than porcelain or marble, and it takes longer to dry than tile. It is prone to getting waterlogged or damaged by water, and the maintenance required to preserve its texture, color, and vibrancy can be quite challenging.
However!
Such problems are not found in The Sims 4.
No matter what material is in your Sim’s bathroom, maintenance and cleaning limitations are virtually non-existent.
This 1×1 shower with the lightly frosted glass and beautiful wooden back panel (and flooring) should be suitable.
Wood textures have significantly improved from Sims 3 to Sims 4, making all the wooden textures in TS4 look amazing. This Dream Shower by pihe89 is no different.
4. Swan Bathtub in Black and Silver by BlackCat27

This CC item lives up to its name. Indeed.
This bathtub is a stunning, sophisticated, and opulent piece designed to resemble a swan. The preview photo doesn’t quite capture its true beauty. Believe me, it’s a whole new experience when you see it in the game.
Major props to the creator for coming up with something unique (I haven’t seen any other bathtubs shaped like animals) and executing it perfectly.
How wealthy does your Sim need to be to indulge in such opulence? Perhaps Del Sol is affluent.
This bathtub is definitely not suited for StrangerVille or Glimmerbrook.
3. Soho Bathroom (Bathtub + Shower) by NynaeveDesign

When Soho comes to mind, it’s all about SoHo, Manhattan.
Art lofts, art galleries, avant-garde fashion, innovative designs, high-end luxury boutiques – it’s all here.
This bathroom CC set by NynaeveDesign truly embodies luxurious living.
The download provides links to additional items beyond just the bathtub and shower, allowing you to replicate the entire bathroom shown in the previews. You can also download them without all the accessories.
This beautiful tub features a deep boat design that curves up to a slightly pointed end.
The shower features a frosted glass enclosure with open ends and a wall-mounted showerhead.
It’s a blend of simplicity and innovation. It’s a great combination of both.
2. Keep it Clean DIY Shower Set by RAVASHEEN

This DIY shower idea is absolutely amazing, and the execution is incredibly well done! Rest assured, the shower will remain fully functional no matter what design you choose.
I was pleasantly surprised by this.
Many TS4 CC sets that offer a high level of customization often experience glitches or malfunctions. I know that customization can be challenging, so I just adjust my expectations when I come across DIY furniture for The Sims 4.
Imagine IKEA, but a hundred times more challenging.
Observing how all the components of this customizable shower, including the shower door and two distinct shower head choices, seamlessly came together was quite impressive. Watching my Sim shower in the makeshift, haphazardly-built shower stall felt like a special moment.
I attempted to create a basic 1×1 shower (successfully using bb.moveobjects on) and an extremely large 5×8 shower stall with three wall-mounted showers. Both functioned flawlessly.
I definitely suggest this set. Would definitely continue playing with the pieces.
Take a look at the creator’s preview photos for inspiration on creating your unique shower!
1. Onda Tub by SIMcredible!

Is this some kind of pun? (Get it? “on the” tub?) or if there’s a linguistic reference I’m missing, but that’s not important. This tub is too good to resist.
I appreciate it when TS4 CC creators are able to blend art and functionality, and this tub is a perfect illustration of that.
In reality, the additional corners and platforms on the main tub are ideal for conveniently placing essential bath items like shampoo, body wash, loofah, and rubber ducky.
In the Sims, it would be the ideal spot for adding some bathroom clutter.
Beautiful, artistic, and durable. It’s definitely worth the $1,004 Simoleons.
