Pokemon GO Details Shared Skies Battle League Update

More information about Pokemon GO’s upcoming Shared Skies season has been released, such as the official Battle League event schedule.

The newest Pokemon GO season, Shared Skies, will start on June 1, ending the current season, World of Wonders.

In the trailer that was released yesterday, it was shown that Shared Skies will mostly be about the Ultra Beasts, a group of powerful beings from another world that were first introduced in Pokemon Sun and Moon.

After being added to Pokemon GO last summer, Mega Rayquaza was also shown in this trailer.

Official Pokemon GO developers have now released a full update on what players can look forward to during the new Shared Skies season.

This includes a full rundown of what will happen during the Battle League starting on June 1 at 1 PM Pacific Time (4 PM Eastern).

Players’ GO Battle League rank will be reset at the start of the season, and the requirements to move up will remain the same as last season.

End-of-season rewards will also be available to claim on the battle screen. Thereafter, from June to September 3, there will be a number of different leagues where players can compete, earn rewards, and move up in the global rankings.

There are different rules for each Pokemon GO Cup that players can enter during the Shared Skies season. Entering the Ultra Premier Cup required Pokemon to have at least 2,500 CP (Combat Power). Legendary, Mythical, and Ultra Beasts were not allowed to compete.

The Summer Cup: Great League Edition will only let Normal, Fire, Water, Grass, Electric, and Bug-type Pokemon with less than 1,500 CP enter.

No CP limit exists for the Master Premier Cup, but Legendary Pokemon, Mythical Pokemon, and Ultra Beasts are not allowed to compete.
