Chapter 1000 Plot
The chapter opens with Luffy making it to the final step before the Onigashima’s roof. Minks who have gathered there have removed any obstacles to make an opening for Luffy to move forward effortlessly.
In The Performance Stage, we see Marco take on King and Queen and fly Zoro to the top. Also, Queen has altered his neck, and technically, he’s a Cyborg.
Momonosuke Yamato and Momonosuke Yamato are still talking about Luffy and Luffy, which triggers the flashback of Ace.
We witness Ace sharing Luffy’s dream with Yamato and this is the initial moment when Yamato begins to fall in love with Luffy because Luffy’s words are similar to those in the Oden’s logbook.
The flashback concludes when Yamato hands a Vivre gift card to Ace and later, he finds out via his card that he’s died.
The rooftop of Onigashima is finally reached in a fantastic double-page spread that shows Luffy, Zoro, Kid, Killer & Law assembled in front of Kaido as well as Big Mom.
