THE NINE RED SCABBARDS

Past of The Nine Red Scabbards Reveals One Piece

The latest chapter of the One Piece manga came out just a few days ago, and it really delivered in an exceedingly mind-blowing manner and reveled in the Nine Red Scabbards.

The Nine Red Scabbards are said to be a formidable group of fighters, so the story of Kurozumi Orochi defeating them grants him the status of an excellent anime warrior.

All the Nine Red Scabbards are said to be exceptionally powerful, some even strong enough to fight on equal footing against the All-Stars of the Beast Pirates.

Led by Foxfire Kin’emon, the Nine Red Scabbards are aiming to take down Yonko Kaido and Kurozumi Orochi as members of the Ninja-Pirate-Mink-Samurai alliance.

They’re led by Kin’emon, a strong swordsman with the power to chop fire, against whom even the leader of Wano Country’s Yakuza, Kyoshiro, showed an interest in fighting.

The Nine Red Scabbards are nine powerful anime samurai who all served Kozuki Oden as his retainers and as his strongest followers, as three of the members were represented to be worth a hundred men in battle.

The group includes Kin’emon, Raizo, Kanjuro, Kikunojo, Kawamatsu, Inuarashi, and Nekomamushi of the Mink Tribe. The last member, Denjiro, has yet to reveal himself.

THE NINE RED SCABBARDS REVEALS

One of the members of the Nine Red Scabbards, Ashura Doji, abandoned his position as one of the Scabbards and is currently leading his own group of bandits under the name Shutenmaru.

Despite Kin’emon’s refusal to rejoin after twenty years of absence, Kin’emon and the others have returned to the decision to force him into being their ally once more by any means necessary, even to the purpose of framing him for theft to force him back into battle.

After the general public execution of Shimotsuki Yasuie, Ashura started an informative conversation concerning the malicious administration in Wano. After showing what happened to their allies, 10 years before Kin’emon and Momonosuke’s come back, Ashura finally rejoined his team

Oden’s backstory continued to boggle the minds of the fans. In the last chapter, we might see Kozuki Oden go from Hakumai to Kuri, where he defeated Ashura Doji. Before meeting Kin’emon, Ashura Doji was a wild thief who ran amock Kuri.

The group was unofficially formed 41 years ago after Kozuki Oden’s disownment from the Kozuki Family. The group began to form when Denjiro and Kin’emon followed Oden out of the Flower Capital after being extremely impressed by his behavior during the Mountain God Incident.

One Piece Reveals The Past of The Nine Red Scabbards

His power was specified; not even the shogun of Wano wanted to interfere with this lawless region.

When beating Ashura, Oden declared himself the King of the Bandits and turned Kuri into a livable place.

Because of this, Kozuki Oden was awarded the title of Daimyō of Kuri, which was a good accomplishment for him.

Other than Ashura Doji, other members of the nine Red Scabbards conjointly joined up with Kozuki Oden.

We already saw how Kin’emon and Denjiro joined up with Oden. The past of the remaining members was recently disclosed.

Kanjuro used to collect the hair of individuals and create brushes out of it. When meeting Oden, he joined up with him. Kiku and her brother Izo were street performers.

They too were taken on the journey by Oden. Meanwhile, Raizo was a former member of the Oniwabanshu whose heart was broken by a woman, so he used to abduct women, though he probably used to tell them stories of his broken heart. When overwhelmed by Oden, he too joined up with the guy.

When and how Kawamatsu joined wasn’t disclosed to us, sadly.

Finally, Nekomamushi and Inuarashi showed up towards the end of the chapter, having washed up on the beach at Kuri in Wano Country.

Hopefully, the following chapter will greatly illustrate the adventures of Oden, though at a slower pace. It felt as if things changed a bit too quickly last week. With that being said, let’s hope Oden’s flashback turns out to be great!
