Unfortunately, one of Windtrace’s features enables toxic gameplay, despite the game’s return to Genshin Impact with a few notable improvements.
Some might say that Genshin Impact is mostly about exploring the open world and making characters, but every update also adds new big events that players can take part in.
A lot of Primogems are given away at these events, so they’re a solid source of gacha pulls all year long.
The Alchemical Ascension event from Version 4.5 is a recent example of solo non-combat gameplay. The majority of the time, events in Genshin Impact are made to be played alone.
Co-op events, like Joyful Beasts and Their Auspices from Version 4.4, pit players against each other, but HoYoverse does this sometimes. The second type is made up of Windtrace: Seekers and Strategy.
Fans of Genshin Impact already had some ideas about what to expect from Windtrace because it was a return event. Player vs. player content isn’t for everyone, so some people choose to skip it.
The new version of Windtrace, on the other hand, permits toxic gameplay, which spoils the fun for people who like the event and wastes time.
Hunters in Windtrace can end a match at any time to prevent Rebels from receiving rewards, as minwheelee pointed out on the Genshin Impact subreddit.
By doing this, players can’t collect Primogems in Genshin Impact and have to wait in queue for a match again.
Genshin Impact Issues Temporary Fix to Windtrace Event
Thank goodness HoYoverse acted quickly to fix the problem and has temporarily made it impossible to quit a match until a better one is found.
Windtrace, which yields 420 Primogems, 240,000 Mora, and 14 Hero’s Wit experience tomes, should be safe for players to do so right now.
In Genshin Impact, Arlecchino has left the Event Banners, but Clorinde and Alhaitham in Version 4.7 are likely to get a lot of gacha pulls from most Genshin Impact accounts.
The Vibro-Crystal Applications event, which will transport players back to the Chasm, and the Specially-Shaped Saurian Search event, which will feature a tease for the new region of Natlan, will also be included in the second half of Version 4.6.
Natlan in Genshin Impact is expected to feature mounts as the main way to explore the new region, and details about it are starting to emerge.
Based on how Remuria and the Sea of Bygone Eras work in Version 4.6, its open-world content will be more tied to the story.
