On Tuesday, Wright Film released a new teaser promotional video for the anime adaptation of Jirō Sugiura’s manga, My Wife Has No Emotion (Boku no Tsuma wa Kanjō ga nai).
The anime’s staff has exciting news for attendees of this weekend’s AnimeJapan convention.
They will be able to interact with a special Mina avatar at the TMS/Sega booth, thanks to the innovative Live2D graphics technology.
The booth will also showcase the initial figure of Mina. Aside from talk events with the cast at the Nikkatsu and Tokyo MX booths, fans of the anime’s X (formerly Twitter) account have the opportunity to get a clear file folder and sticker (while supplies last) at select booths.
The anime is set to premiere in July on Tokyo MX, MBS, and BS Asahi.
Fumihiro Yoshimura, who has worked on such projects as Kumi to Tulip and Jungle Emperor Leo: Hon-o-ji, is in charge of directing the anime.
The production is being handled by Tezuka Productions.
Mitsutaka Hirota, known for his work on Edens Zero and Rent-A-Girlfriend, is in charge of the series scripts.
Zenjirou Ukulele, who has previously worked as the chief animation director for Naruto Shippūden, is responsible for designing the characters.
My Wife Has No Emotion: Story

Takuma leads a simple lifestyle, focusing on his work and personal time. Feeling exhausted, he opts to acquire a robot to handle cooking and household tasks.
Takuma playfully suggests that “Mina-chan” should consider becoming his wife, given her exceptional housekeeping skills. Mina and Takuma develop a close bond as they begin to spend more time together, even enjoying a lovely picnic outdoors. Over time, Takuma finds himself developing feelings for Mina.
However, he wonders if a human and a robot can truly have a relationship that is equal and filled with love.
My Wife Has No Emotion manga was launched by Sugiura in Kadokawa’s Comic Flapper magazine in 2019.
The seventh compiled book volume of the My Wife Has No Emotion manga was published by Kadokawa in October 2023.
The fifth volume of the manga was published by Seven Seas Entertainment in August 2023.
