18 Best Mog Station Items in FFXIV

Fans of Final Fantasy XIV know that the Mog Station is where they can buy fun extras with real money. We talk about the MMORPG’s most valuable items.

The big story Final Fantasy XIV is a popular MMORPG made by Square Enix. Like most MMOs, you pay a monthly fee, and you can buy some extra things with real money.

Lucky for us, the game doesn’t take this too far. A lot of people are happy with what the game already has. Some players, on the other hand, want extra stuff and are willing to pay for it.

People get these things at the mog station. What are the best things that Mog Station sells?

18. Metallic Dyes

In Final Fantasy XIV, you can find dyes all over the place. Metallic dyes, on the other hand, can only be found on the Mog Station.

Some of the players’ favorite clothes are made with these shiny dyes. In fact, a lot of them buy this along with their wedding package and use the dye on their wedding clothes.

So if you see players who look extra shiny, it’s likely because they went to the Mog Station.

The best part is that metallic dyes also come in different colors, so you can go gold, red, silver, blue, green, or purple. You can do what you want.

17. Fat Moogle Mount

It’s hard to miss this mount for two people.

Many things are cool about the fat moogle mount. First of all, it is really, really big.

Even so, the part you ride on is not the fat moogle itself. Instead, the moogle will carry a pretty swing for you to ride on.

Also, cute little moogles fly around you while you ride and play little instruments.

16. Your Own Wedding

A wedding package is the most unique thing you can buy at the Mog Station.

It comes with wedding clothes, a wedding chocobo mount, quests, and an event you can invite all your friends to.

Like a real wedding, you and another player get to plan yours. You decide on the wedding’s music, colors, ceremony, and time. You can also do it again every year on your anniversary.

15. Tales Of Adventure: Stormblood

Imagine wanting to play Final Fantasy XIV but not being able to really play with your friends until you’ve finished multiple expansions.

For some players, that hell is a real place.

I’ll always say that players should be able to go back and finish the story the way they want to.

With New Game+, this is also easier than ever.

This is why you should remember to go back if you ever use one of these items to skip to the newest expansion.

Always.

14. Mount: Lunar Whale

The Lunar Whale is one of the more recent additions to the Mog Station.

Even compared to the regular Whale, he is on this list because he looks so cool.

This one looks like it came from the moon because it is black.

This is for you if you’ve ever wanted to fly around on a space whale.

Want to know the best thing about this unique mount? It can hold up to eight people.

At the time this was written, the Lunar Whale is the only mount in the game that can hold that many players. And if you have this, you can drive all your friends around.

13. Emote: Toast

Now, imagine that you and your friends are fighting the most dangerous creatures together.

Maybe this is your first trial, and you and your team have spent hours trying to get this beast to behave.

You guys finally killed the bad beast after hundreds of tries. Go to one of the big cities to celebrate. Maybe you all sit down with your drinks and go to make a toast, but you can’t.

Well, this emote comes in handy then.

Toast is exactly what you can do with the toast emote.

Once you have this cute little add-on, you can toast to whatever you want with all your friends.

Good times, bad times, strange times… it doesn’t matter. Just make sure you don’t spill.

12. Minion: Panda Cub

This one was going to make the cut no matter what.

You can’t tell me you haven’t looked around the Mog Station, seen this guy, and wanted to take him home.

It’s like walking into a pet store and falling in love with the first puppy you see.

Only it’s a panda instead of a puppy!

I’m pretty sure you’ve thought about wanting a panda at some point or another. The real world is stupid and won’t let you, though.

But with Final Fantasy XIV, you can kind of own a panda legally and safely.

This little guy will follow you around, and he’ll probably try to keep you safe. What could you want more of?

11. High Summoner’s Attire

Here’s a Mog Station item that will make all Final Fantasy fans feel like they’re going back in time.

Well, fans of the series who have played the tenth game.

You can dress like Yuna, one of the main characters in Final Fantasy X if you get this outfit.

And I’m sure you’re wondering why Yuna’s outfit is so high on this list. There must be a lot more clothes on there, right?

So, yes. But not all of them combine nostalgia with style to give you what I think is one of the best outfits in the whole game.

Yuna looks great in her clothes. And it’s even better if you’re a summoner!

So, you can dress up as one of the best summoners in Final Fantasy history.

10. Phial of Fantasia

I was surprised to find myself putting this one on here.

When you think about the fact that everyone makes mistakes, though, it all makes sense. I know I do.

The phial of Fantasia is basically a second chance to make your character just the way you want them.

And there’s no need to feel bad!

Final Fantasy XIV is an MMO. If you get hooked on the game, you’ll probably spend hundreds or even thousands of hours with your character.

There’s nothing wrong with making changes to your character if you don’t like them.

Just try to get it right the second time. You don’t want to pay for a Fantasia every two or three months.

9. Carbuncle Slippers

Even the Warrior of Light gets cold feet occasionally, and I mean that in a literal way.

Luckily, the Mog Station has everything you need.

If your character’s feet are cold, you can put these cute, stylish Carbuncle slippers on them.

These aren’t only cute, but they also come in different colors.

Carbuncle slippers actually come in three different styles. And they’re all cute, but the Emerald ones are my favorite.

But if those don’t grab your attention, maybe one of the other pairs will.

They are just as cool as the Ruby and Topaz ones.

No matter what color you choose, these will keep you warm, and the Free Company house will be talking about you.

8. Mount: Fatter Cat

The fat cat is one of the most popular helpers in Final Fantasy XIV.

The people who made the minion saw this and decided to take it a step further by making it a mount. Players loved it so much that fat cats took over the skies and roads of Eorzea.

Even the saddle on the horse is cute and filled with catnip. The best part is when they stop moving and their little legs disappear under their dough-like bodies.

7. Loyal Butler’s Uniform

We had to have at least one outfit on this list for the guys, didn’t we?

Final Fantasy XIV has a lot of cool and scary clothes, but not as many… fancy ones.

Warriors of Light, this is just what you need.

Putting on this outfit is a conscious choice to raise the status of your character. When you walk around in this cool suit, people will think you’re a member of the upper class.

And places like Ishgard will be a good fit for you.

If there was one bad thing about this outfit, it would be that people might try to treat you like a servant because you look like one.

But that’s all right! If they ask you to get something for them, just act like they’re the butler.

6. Angelic Barding

Look, there are times when your pets also deserve to be treated well.

And a Chocobo is the best pet you can get.

They fight with you, carry you around Eorzea, fly you around, and sometimes even heal you. I don’t think there’s anything a Chocobo can’t do!

Which is already impressive.

It’s like they’re… angels made of yellow chickens.

With this cool Angelic Barding, you can make your Chocobo look like a real angel.

If you put this on your Chocobo, its wings will turn white and look like angel wings. And even that isn’t the best part.

The best part is that when the Chocobo wears the Angelic Barding, a halo appears above its head.

It’s just right.

5. Mount: Starlight Bear

Once upon a time, if you were a new player, you would never have been able to get this bear.

But the Mog Station has made this bear available again.

It was given out during the Christmas event in the game’s first few years. And it’s better than ever this time.

Really, it’s just a big bear dressed as Santa Claus that you can ride.

With this guy, you’ll be crazy happy and full of Christmas spirit. Because a big Christmas bear from the Mog Station is the best way to celebrate the holidays.

4. Brand New Alphinaud’s Attire

Alphinaud was at first a character that most people didn’t care much about.

He didn’t really start coming into his own until the end of the base game. Then, during Heavensward, he was really fleshed out.

Since then, he’s made even more progress.

And he’s become a favorite among fans.

Now you can look like that favorite character with this outfit.

I chose Alphinaud’s outfit because of how much he’s grown (not physically), but other characters’ outfits are also at the Mog Station.

You can act like your favorite MSQ character, for example.

The Mog Station has your back from Minfillia to Thancred and even Alphinaud.

3. Miniature Dreadwyrm

Here’s something else on this list that really surprised me.

It’s one of the few things I didn’t know existed, and I’m sure a lot of people who like houses will love it.

It’s basically a small statue of Bahamut that you can put in your house.

Simple, but great.

If you ask me, the best time to get this guy is after you’ve finished the raids for the Binding Coil of Bahamut.

You could think of it as a badge of honor for beating one of the most dangerous and powerful Final Fantasy monsters ever.

It’s also just very cool.

2. Emote: Play Dead

This is probably my favorite emote in the whole game.

It just makes me feel good on every level.

Life can be too much at times. And you wish you could just act dead for a little while.

I can do that whenever I want with this emote (in-game, anyways).

When things get too crazy in Eorzea, I type /play dead and drop. No matter where I am, I am right there.

No one can stop me from being as dramatic as I want to be.

And neither will your friends be able to stop you.

Was your stuff stolen? /play dead

Did you get a message from someone who was angry?

Did you press the wrong button and wipe out your party by accident?

1. Mount: SDS Fenrir

I have to say that I think this one belongs here.

It’s a mix of all the things on this list that I like best.

It brings back memories, is really cool, and is pretty helpful.

You couldn’t ask for a better mount, especially in the Final Fantasy VII Remake, which is always impressive.

If you have played the game, you will know that this is Cloud’s bike.

It is also one of the most popular mounts on the Mog Station in FFXIV.

That’s probably because it’s so awesome.

You could even use this mount with the Cloud outfit you can get in the game. Then you’d really be rocking and rolling.
