Naturally, you must first complete a series of puzzles to gain access to this Domain.
A strange house with detachable walls awaits, and you’ll need to find all the Amulets hidden within to escape the Empty Boat of a Thousand Gates Domain before the domain’s Samurai attack you.
That, however, is the beginning of the challenge.
Instead of clearing the Domain, the biggest challenge is locating it.

This underwater Domain can only be accessed once you’ve completed the Sacred Sakura Cleansing Ritual questline.
Please start “A Strange Story in Konda” World Quest first if you haven’t already done so!
After completing this World Quest, move on to the next one, titled “Sacrificial Offering.”
When you make a Sacrificial Offering, the Memento Lens is yours to keep.
To begin the Sacred Sakura Cleansing Ritual, you can now use this key to gain access to the Narukami underwater area, which contains a shrine that needs to be cleaned.
How to unlock the Empty Boat of a Thousand Gates Domain underwater area?
Go north of Narukami Island to the Araumi region and activate the four Electro mechanisms that surround the stone tower and a large tree with your Memento Lens.
Each of the four Electro mechanisms has a different number of components.
Activating three of them is as simple as hitting them with an Electro attack; however, one of them is encircled by Electro squares.
To activate the mechanism, you must turn the Araumi electro puzzle pieces in the correct order.
Next, enter the stone tower ruin and apply the Memento Lens to the Earth Kitsune statues there.
After that, all you have to do is flip the three switches to let you into the room below.
Sacred Sakura Cleansing Ritual is in front of you, and the path to the underwater area (including Empty Boat of a Thousand Gates Domain) is to your left once you enter the cave.

The rest of the cave, as you can see, is still submerged in water.
Solve another Electro square puzzle to get rid of it (use the guide again if you need help).
Afterwards, you can swim through the tunnel and then ascend the stairs.

To complete the game, enter the room through the upper round door (on your left) and defeat the mechanical enemies that appear along the way.
Keep to your right and make your way to the second floor to face the Perpetual Mechanical Array boss.

To reach the final tile, which has a blue haze, you must step on each tile once.
If you want to solve both puzzles, all you have to do is walk in a circle (the outer ring, then the inner ring).

In the Empty Boat of a Thousand Gates Domain, you’ll face only two opponents: an Electro Samurai and a Pyro Samurai.
Using your best Electro and Pyro characters is still an option, but Cryo and Anemo are preferable.
It is highly recommended that you use two Cryo characters in order to benefit from Elemental Resonance.
Take your best healer or shielder with you, as these Samurai are not to be taken lightly.

How to Quickly Pass the Domain of the Empty Boat of a Thousand Gates, you can start by gliding down.
Grab the little purple Electro Amulet from the wooden wall on your left.
Once you’ve reached what appears to be a dead end, turn around and knock down the wall to your right.
A second Electro Amulet can be found behind the planks on your left, hidden from view.
Turn around and head back the way you came until you run out of options.
Open the wooden wall to your right, and then the one directly in front of you, if you have not already done so.
Only the Electro Amulets can be used to open a large Electro door in the room.
The first two are pre-installed on the door and can be removed at any time.
Return to the entrance, turn left, and open the wall on the left side.
To get to the final Electro Amulet, you must now move every wall to the right.
The final stage of the Empty Boat of a Thousand Gates Domain, the boss fight, can be reached by opening the large Electro door.
The Pyro joins the fight after the Electro Samurai has been defeated.
In order to deal with the Electro as quickly as possible when the Pyro joins the fight, you may want to save some of your Elemental Burst attacks.
Remember that their dash and jump attacks require some initiation time, so you can easily avoid them by using your Sprint.
