Make sure you’re aware of how long the Genshin Impact banner will be up and who you can pull for on the next banner if you save your prime gems.
There is a rather consistent pattern to the appearance of Genshin Impact banners.
When a new major update is released, it will be accompanied by a new banner campaign lasting three weeks, followed by a second campaign lasting the same amount of time (barring any delays).
Have you ever wondered what the next Genshin Impact banner will look like? Until the banners are officially unveiled on the live streams preceding each update, we don’t know the specific details.
Update 1.3 contained three two-week banners, therefore Hu Tao’s banner did not cross over with Chinese New Year, but this isn’t always the case.
A five-star character and three four-star characters with higher drop rates are included in each Event Wish banner.
In addition to each character’s banner, there is a weapon banner – Epitome Invocation – that changes weaponry every time the game is updated. Genshin Impact’s existing and future banners are detailed here.

Next Genshin Impact banner
A Yoimiya banner rerun will appear in the next Genshin Impact banner to be released on August 2, as part of the second phase of Genshin Impact 2.08.
Tapestry of Golden Flames will be the name of the piece.
Heating is on the first two banners but isn’t expected to feature on Yoimiya’s banner at this time.
Future Genshin Impact banners
Hoyoverse has now officially announced the characters Dori, Collie, and Tighnari for future Genshin Impact banners.
We should reasonably expect to see these characters in the near future, given that banners for newly revealed characters have appeared on the next update in recent months.
Rumors are flying about a new area, called Sumeru, and the debut of the Dendro element. Genshin Impact 3.0 is related to them, therefore Hoyoverse may skip version 2.9 altogether.
As soon as new banners for Genshin Impact are unveiled, we’ll let you know.
