The Omega Lights was one of the toughest challenges in the Fortnite series, while Season 4 introduced some of the most recognizable personalities.

If you were using this gaming area to play Fortnite get these lights unlocked or to simply play games, you must have witnessed how hard it was. That is the reason why it was quite difficult to do the work.

What Is Omega Skin?

Let me first talk about the Omega skin as an object. Omega was Tier 100’s reward in the Season 4 Battle Pass. Due to its appearance, aggressive and imposing, it was one of the most popular skins to use.

In Fortnite it was associated with talent and hard work, and everybody wanted to get this skin. But the first goal was to get the simple Omega skin which was not that easy in the first place.

The Omega Lights Challenge

Unlocking the Omega Lights posed a new challenge that arisen after getting access to the skin called Omega. The Omega skin was even more amazing by the presence of these lights as a distinct feature.

They drew yellow neon lines on skin to make its armor look powerful and very futuristic. Initially, these lights could be turned on only after certain level of gaming completion before the end of the season was achieved.

Level 80 Requirement

This level requirement is the main cause of why Omega Lights themselves are so hard to unlock. To switch on the lights players need to level up having reached the 80th level during the season.

Despite this it may sound almost effortless, earlier the process of levelling up in Fortnite was not as straightforward as it is today. To level up in Season 4 meant that players had to be very patient and was all about playing the game as often as possible.

The Grind

Players required cursting through numerous matches, completing the daily and weekly missions, and gaining XP to get to Level 80. As you see, in Season 4 there were fewer ways to get XP than today, when you can get XP for opening chests, and playing in creative modes, etc. The players had to play ordinary games and get defeated and then only they have to stay alive for as long as possible.

Limited Time

Players could only get to Level 80 by the end of the season EverQuest 2 players also had some troubles getting Omega Lights. Seasons in Fortnite generally last ten weeks, so in order to keep up with the game developers’ pace, gamers played almost every day. Literally ‘A day lost in play means a day’s work lost’; sometimes a few days without play could mean that one is lagging behind.

Competition

This season was filled with significant progression and growth of Fortnite together with even more competitions. Therefore, getting hi positions in matches became a greater challenge which indeed possed a major challenge on how to get XP. The greater the number of XP one accrued in bouts the better one was at performing. Though achieving those top places was not as easy because there were many talented players within the game.

No Easy Way Out

There were no XP coins, bonus XP weekends or any special event that will boost your XP in order to level up faster just like the subsequent seasons.

The only activities that they have left to the players were the game play and the final chores. This only made the grind feel even harder and even longer.

The Reward

Despite the difficulty, many players were determined to unlock the Omega Lights because of how amazing they looked. The lights were a badge of honor, showing that you had not only reached Tier 100 but also put in the extra effort to reach Level 80. It was a sign of dedication and skill that few players could boast about.
