Fortnite: Where To Find The Thunder Shotgun

Playing Fortnite is characterized by a style of gameplay that involves great risks and rewards; shotguns are indispensable in this game.

There is the need to eliminate opponents through powerful shotgun shots, which makes many players carry them around as weapons of choice.

While other shotguns have come and gone in seasons past, a few such as the Thunder Shotgun have remained popular choices among fans.

In the most recent update to Fortnite Reload, it brought back the Thunder Shotgun. This much-liked shotgun has two-shot firing mode enabling it to hit up to 118 damage points.

For those who play heavily with shotguns, this weapon can be slotted into any loadout since it is easily accessible from the map.

Ensure that Fortnite Reload is activated before beginning your search for the Thunder Shotgun. This weapon is only available again in the shortened, action-packed battle royale game.

The shotgun is found in any hot area where you land because it falls from most chests at random. You will probably find a gray, green, or blue variant of the gun when you open a chest.

Look for Mythic Chests or Supply Drops to have a shot at the Legendary variant.

Carrying at least a blue (rare) or purple (super rare) Thunder Shotgun is advised, as they deal 106 and 112 damage, respectively.

Should you be extremely fortunate, you may encounter the Legendary version, which has a potent damage output of 118.

The shotgun may feel a little slower than typical for inexperienced players. Having a backup short-range weapon on hand, such as the Twin Mag SMG, is a good idea in case the Thunder Shotgun proves to be untrustworthy.

Players who were hoping to improve the Thunder Shotgun immediately after acquiring it from Sunflower are out of luck because it cannot be upgraded.

Instead, they must transport it to the barn in Frenzy Fields. These will always be its stats, however, it can be deployed at any point throughout a match:

  • 92 damage
  • 1.85 is the headshot multiplier.
  • Rate of Fire: 0.76
  • Size of magazine: 8
  • 5.8 seconds for the reload

Its critical damage multiplier is very high, even for a Common-Rarity weapon, thus when it hits its maximum, it can do a total of 170 damage.
