Yes, the Eromanga Sensei light novels series continues in 2022. The latest volume was published in Japan by Tsukasa Fushimi (Oreimo), on November 9, 2019.

In 2020 and 2021, there was no new volume. The author is currently working to create an Oreimo spinoff. Therefore, the Eromanga Seni Light Novel 13 release date is not available.

Eromanga Sensei Light Fiction After The First Season

Volume 4 of the Eromanga Sensi light novel is available after the completion of season 1. Volumes 1 through 3 were adapted for the first season. Both OVAs are original stories.

It has been more than two years since Eromanga Sensei published a new light novel volume.

It is not among the 100 best-selling light novels series.

This series is unlikely to make it into the top 100. It would require at least five volumes more, and I doubt that it will achieve that. It would need at least five more volumes, and I doubt it will get that.

What Is the Price of Eromanga-Sensei’s Merchandise?

There are more than 50 figurines than there are people, but only ten of them are of good quality. This series also includes more than 350 pieces of merchandise. This is quite a lot.

Is There a Season 2 of Eromanga-Sensei?

The second season would continue the story and expand the anime universe, but season two of Eromanga Seni will probably never be released.

This means that there won’t be a new season for Eromanga Sensei and Eromanga Sensei Episode 2 will not appear on Crunchyroll or Funimation or Netflix.

It is more intriguing to ask why Eromanga Sensei’s second season has not been released. Let’s now see what happened with Eromanga Sensei Season 2.

What Happened To Eromanga Sensei Season 2?

There is no Eromanga Sensei Season 2 release date because of the author.

Tsukasa Fushiimi, the author, decided to take a break form Eromanga Sensi. He began work on Oreimo light novels for Kanako, Kuroneko and Ayase.

The Kanako spinoff was released on September 10, 2021. Apart 2 should be available in 2022. It appears that volume 13 will not be available for Eromanga-Sensei in 2022.

It will mean that Eromanga Sensei won’t be published for three years. It is not clear if the author has lost interest in Eromanga Sensi.

He should complete it before he jumps to do anything else for three more years. It would suffice to finish it according to my readings one or more volumes from Eromanga Sensei.

It’s been five years since the first season was released. The chances of the second season being successful are slim, even if they make a profit.

If there had been any plans for season 2, it would have been out long ago. But you never know what Kadokawa will do. Eromanga-Sensei’s success means that there is always hope for season 2.

The Oreimo spinoffs will likely be completed by the end of 2022. At that point, we’ll find out if the author will return and finish the Eromanga Sensei Series.
