J.C. Staff will be adapting Do You Love Your Mom and Her Two-Hit Multi-Target Attacks? (Tsuujou Kougeki ga Zentai Kougeki de Ni-kai Kougeki no Oka-san wa Suki desuka?). No premiere date has been announced.

Is Do You Love Your Mom a parody of the isekai genre — one that features Masato Osuki and his mom being transported to a video game-like world? In a cruel twist of fate, his mom is an overpowered warrior that protects him from enemies—and tanks his chances with cute party members.

Do You Love Your Mom

Writer Dachima Inaka and illustrator Pochi Iida launched the light novel in January 2017. It has been a best-seller for the humor, strange (non-incestuous)  mother-son dynamic, and Pochi’s seductive art.

Synopsis of Do You Love Your Mom

Just when Masato thought that a random survey conducted in school was over, he was roped into a secret government scheme. Before he knew it, he ended up in a Game world! As if that wasn’t enough, shockingly, his mother was there as well!

It was a little different from the typical transported to another world setting, but after some bickering, “Mom wants to go on an adventure together with Maa-Kun.” “Can mom become Maa-Kun’s companion?” With that, Masato and Mamako begin their adventure as a mother-son pair.

They meet Porta, a cute traveling merchant, and Wise, an egotistical mage. Together they start on their journey and begin learning more about themselves and their mothers.

So… Here is the list of the characters in Do You Love Your Mom in detail. Have a look.

She is also very emotional as she is easily infuriated when her son is in danger or if she is made to look shameful in front of him. Additionally, she fell to tears when Misato said that he would disown her.

She loves her son dearly that wants to spend more time with him, since they became Beta Testers for the MMORPG she saw this as an opportunity to become closer to Masato

Porta is a merchant and one of the few MMORPG players not to be a part of a mother-child pair. She cares deeply for her party members and will do whatever she can to help them.

However, she is unable to combat enemies and is prone to exhaustion from physical activity and high temperatures.

So was the first person Mamako approved to join Masato’s party and is fussed over by the both of them.

3. Wise

Wise

Wise is one of the main characters and a beta tester of the MMORPG. She originally arrived with her mother, but they had an argument and separated, which led to her joining Masato and Mamako’s party.

Wise is the typical Tsundere with a superiority complex. She talks loudly and acts harshly or violently toward Masato whenever she’s flustered or embarrassed.

However, she does care about her fellow party members and is grateful to them for helping her sort out her relationship with her mother.

4. Medhi

 Medhi

Medhi (メディ Medi) is one of the main protagonists. She is a beta tester and eventually joins Masato’s party.

Initially, Medhi comes off as a kind and sweet girl. She’s eager to please those around her and dutifully follows the orders of her mother. However, her relationship with her mother led to Medhi developing a deep-seated resentment for her and dissatisfaction with her life.

After working out her issues with her mother, Medhi’s true personality emerges. While she still cares deeply for those close to her, Medhi is now much more mischievous and playful.

Medhi pokes fun at Wise and claims that she’s the superior mage. Medhi is also openly threatening those who would attack her party and flirts with Masato.
