During the Industry Panel at this year’s Anime NYC, Crunchyroll announced the acquisition of much new anime series.

California, Culver City (November 19, 2022) – At its Industry Panel at Anime NYC today, Crunchyroll, the industry leader in offering the ideal anime experience to fans around the world, announced several intriguing acquisitions, including the highly anticipated Hell’s Paradise and Season 2 of The Ancient Magus’ Bride.

DEAD MOUNT DEATH PLAY || HELL’S PARADISE

From the creators of Chainsaw Man, JUJUTSU KAISEN, and the final season of Attack on Titan comes Hell’s Paradise, the story of a shinobi once known as the strongest in Iwagakure who is now on death row and promised he will be released if he retrieves the Elixir of Life from an island believed to be the Buddhist pure land Sukhavati.

The series is adapted from Yji Kaku’s popular Jump Comics manga of the same name, published by Shueisha.

A preview trailer was released, giving fans a glimpse into the terrifying and fantastical universe that will be available on Crunchyroll in 2023. At the end of the panel, producer Nozomi Ishii showed a video message to the audience.

Here we go again with the tale of the beast and the human girl. After premiering in 2017, The Ancient Magus’ Bride won’t return until April 2023 on Crunchyroll for its second season.

After Wit Studio’s successful first season adapting Kore Yamazaki’s best-selling manga, which has sold over 10 million copies worldwide, Studio Kafka will take on the series’ second installment. Its grand return was teased in a trailer, and director Kauzaki Terasawa sent his greetings in a video message.

Yuri Is My Job! follows Hime as she reluctantly accepts a job in a strange café where the waitresses dress as though they were attending an all-female boarding school.

She has an unusual crush on Mitsuki, her coworker because he is always so nice to her in front of the customers. There’s just one problem… Mitsuki really can’t stand her!

The panel announced an English dub teaser trailer for studio Passione’s upcoming spring 2023 release on Crunchyroll, based on Miman’s manga of the same name.

The Ice Guy and His Cool Female Colleague, an anime adaptation of Miyuki Tonogaya’s uplifting fantasy romcom manga of the same name, is scheduled to premiere on Crunchyroll in January 2023.

The short teaser trailer teases the working scenario where a snowy-white romance blows in like a snowstorm with Himuro, a descendant of yuki-onnas living in modern times and a newcomer office worker.

He has been known to put people in a deep freeze if his undisclosed romantic feelings for his quirky but amiable employee Fuyutsuki get stronger.

Coming to Crunchyroll in April 2023, Dead Mount Death Play will feature a confrontation for the ages as the famous hero takes on the corpse god necromancer, but when the dust settles, something isn’t quite right.

The corpse god’s final gambit shot in the climactic moments of their epic encounter was completely out of the blue… rebirth magic!

A teaser trailer for the series based on the manga of the same name authored by Ryohgo Narita and drawn by Shinta Fujimoto reveals the reincarnation noir fantasy from studio Geek Toys and director Manabu Ono (Sword Art Online) (Sword Art Online).

Videos of cast members Inori Minase and Yma Uchida offering their thoughts on the performance were also shown.

AYAKA is a new anime series that will premiere on Crunchyroll in 2023 and tells the story of Yukito Yanagi, an orphan who meets a strange student of his late father.

When he arrives at his birthplace on Ayakajima, the strange man takes him there, but his house begins to crumble under their weight.

The story was written by GoRA, famed for their original anime series K, and the teaser video incorporates animation from Studio Blanc

Finally, a teaser trailer for Saving 80,000 Gold in Another World for My Retirement: Crunchyroll’s January 2023 release was released.

From anime studio Felix Film and based on the popular series with over 120 million views on the web novel site Shosetsuka ni Narou, the story features Mitsuha, who one day, as she worries about how she’ll survive, is given the “World Jumping” ability by a mysterious being that allows her to go back and forth between “this world” and an “isekai.”

With this newfound power, she has devised a strategy for the future in which she will set aside 2 billion yen (or 80,000 gold coins) across two different worlds.
