Citrus Season 2: Release Date Info

Citrus Season 2 is still not officially announced.

This means that there is no release date. However, the question remains if and when Citrus Season 2 will be released.

Citrus is an anime series based on a popular yuri manga with the same name, first published in 2013. Saburouta wrote and illustrated the Citrus manga series.

It is a romance yuri anime series featuring drama elements that follow Yuzu Aihara as she is forced to transfer to another school

This is an opportunity for Yuzu Aihara, a fashion socialite, to finally fall in love and experience their first kiss.

Citrus, an anime television series, has had only one season. It was directed by Takeo Tahashi and animated in Studio PassioneIt is not known if the director or studio will return to Citrus s2.

In Japan, the first 12 episode Citrus anime television series was launched in January 2018.

This series has gained a large fan base, which is still waiting for Citrus Season 2 Episode 1, or some kind of sequel.

Is there a second season of Citrus?

Citrus Season 2 is almost certain to never happen.

Because yuri series is rarely well-received, there aren’t many anime adaptations.

Citrus was unfortunately not an exception. The anime adaptation was not financially profitable. The second season of citrus will not be produced.

Citrus didn’t make much money. Citrus Blu-Ray sales are about 1,100 copies per year, which is very low.

There is also virtually no merchandising or figures for this series.

The manga is not selling well, so there is no hope for Citrus season 2.

The bad news is that there’s still plenty of material to be adapted for a new season. Only four volumes have been translated.

One to two more seasons of this series could be animated from what is currently available.

However, the likelihood of a sequel to this series being produced is almost zero.

Citrus Season 2, Release Date

Citrus Season 2 2 Citrus Season 2: Release Date Info

Citrus Season 2 has no release date. This is because there was no confirmation, cancellation, or announcement of a second season.

It is also very unlikely that a release date will ever be announced.

I thought I would mention that this series still has a chance to get a new season.

However, after looking at the sales figures and Citrus Plus’s performance, I think the chances of it happening in 2021 are slim.

This series does not appear to be financially viable enough for a second episode.

If there are any updates or dates for a new Citrus anime, we will post them here.

You don’t have to give up on the possibility of a new Citrus anime season.

The manga can be started from volume 5 since it covers volumes 1 through 4.

Although many anime fans would love to see the second season of Citrus anime, but it is unlikely.
