Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Teases Return of Fan Favorite Character

Fan-favorite character Frank Woods will be making a comeback in Treyarch’s upcoming installment of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, according to a new teaser video for the game.

Fans are speculating about the timeline of the Black Ops series and the implications of Woods’ return in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 as a result of the trailer. This is because of the events that took place in Black Ops 2.5.

On day one, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will be accessible to Xbox Game Pass subscribers, with the exception of those who subscribe to the Core tier of Xbox Game Pass.

Following the completion of Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision Blizzard in October 2023, Treyarch’s new game will be the first Call of Duty release to be made available on the Play Store.

As of late, Activision has confirmed that Saddam Hussein will play a role in the narrative of Black Ops 6, which will be released later this year. The game will be set during the Iraqi Gulf War of the 1990s.

The covert operations that take place behind the front lines of war are likely to be the primary focus of Black Ops 6, just as they were in previous Black Ops games.

According to the hints and images of vandalism that were depicted in the game’s first teaser, Black Ops 6 appears to come with some anti-government themes as well.

A new teaser video for Black Ops 6 was broadcast in Call of Duty: Warzone, and it showed Frank Woods seated in a wheelchair.

This video was discovered by CharlieIntel and KRNG Hero on Twitter. Before the screen fades back into the Warzone match, Woods gives the player orders to find some intel in the teaser video from the game.

The fans are of the opinion that Black Ops 6 will have a direct connection to Black Ops 2, and that Woods will once again play a pivotal role in the narrative.

Like Black Ops Cold War from 2020, it will at the very least be set between Black Ops and Black Ops 2.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Teaser Trailer Confirms the Return of Frank Woods

As a result of the fact that Black Ops 2 is one of the most well-liked games in the Call of Duty series, a great number of fans are thrilled and pleased that Activision and Treyarch “didn’t forget” about it.

There is no information regarding the extent to which elements from the narrative of Black Ops 2 will be incorporated into Black Ops 6, but the fact that Woods will be returning is a positive sign for fans of the first two Black Ops games.

On June 9, during the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Direct, which takes place immediately after the Xbox Games Showcase 2024 livestream, the new Call of Duty title will be revealed in its entirety for the first time.

The Direct-style event will likely feature the presentation of in-game footage as well as a new trailer for Black Ops 6, which fans can anticipate seeing.
