It has been a wild season so far.
We have a great set of anime to list.
Some second-season bombs, some new unique anime, and more!
The Spring 2017 Season has seen quite a rise in the number of people that watch anime and I am loving it!
Anime should reach more audiences across the world so that even more money is poured into the business and we can witness some great mangas adapted into anime!
Let us get to the list without any further ado!

15. Quan Zhi Gao Shou

Quanzhi Gaoshou (The King’s Avatar) is an adaptation of a Chinese manhua that goes by the same name.
Quanzhi Gaoshou is a top-tier gamer, who plays a multiplayer game online and is quite good at it.
After several years of dominating the game, he is forced to retire and finds a job at an internet cafe.
When he comes to know that his game is launching its tenth server he comes back again to play it with a new name, “Lord Grimm”
I am a big fan of MOBAs, specifically DotA and as a multiplayer gamer I am so pumped to watch how the rest of this anime turns out
14. Boruto: Naruto Next Generations

Growing up Naruto was probably one of the best anime I watched.
Naruto as a character was never relatable to me but I could still understand the journey he took and the goal he set for himself.
I think because of the success Naruto has had in the past decade, Boruto has a lot of pressure to be a success just like Naruto and Naruto Shippuden and I don’t know how it is gonna deal with pressure from the fanbase and even the production house.
Whatever happens, I am excited about the show!
13. Tsuki ga Kirei

Tsuki ga Kirei (The Moon is Beautiful) is a high school romance between two cute and lovable characters.
Kotarou is an average guy at studies but quite good at playing classical instruments and keeps an interest in writing and reading whereas Akane is an athlete for the track team of their high school and is also a hardworking student when it comes to exams and grades.
Tsuki ga Kirei is a story showing how young love develops and how the lovers realize that life and love are not as straightforward as they think.
12. Sword Oratoria

We all know the meme of how anime titles are getting more and more specific.
It all started with, “That One Time I got Reincarnated as a Slime” and it should’ve ended with this one, “Sword Oratoria: Is it wrong to pick up girls in the Dungeon? On the side”
The name is very amusing and of course, the anime has been even more amusing.
As we can all guess by the title the main character is gonna try some antics to pick up women in the dungeons.
Sword Oratoria is set in a mystical world with adventurers, guilds, and dungeons.
The Sword Princess Ais and her friend a mage, Lefiya who are both parts of the Loki family set out on an adventure with their group to the dungeon underneath the Tower of Babel.
Let us watch as they try to accomplish the goals that they set out for themselves.
11. Little Witch Academia (2nd Cour)

Little Witch Academia is a story about a little girl named Akko who enrolls in a magic school called, “Nova Magical Academy” even though she has no background in magic.
Akko was inspired by her idol’s words, “A Believing Heart is Magic” and since then Akko has always believed in herself that she can become a witch just like her idol, Shiny Chariot.
In 2013, we got to see Atsuko and her story in a 30 min long OVA but now Atsuko is here to stay for this anime season with probably 24 or 25 episodes in total.
10. SukaSuka

Coming at number ten we have SukaSuka or should I say, “WorldEnd: What do you do at the end of the world?
Are you busy?
Will you save us?”.
Another one of those anime with a long and specific name, my god these are coming up a lot nowadays.
William Kmetsch a 500-year-old legend who once fiercely fought against a mysterious monster and was victorious but at the same time got trapped in ice has awakened after a 500-year-long deep sleep only to find that humanity is on the brink of extinction as he is the last human survivor.
The anime has been quite exciting thus far and will have even more interesting to see how William restores his race and makes the world balanced again.
9. Saekano: How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend .flat

Takano: How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend .flat is the sequel to the 2015 anime How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend.
The anime has a good blend of comedy, school romance, and some ecchi.
Well, the anime has a pretty self-explanatory title, Megumi Katou has an uninteresting personality and is often automatically thrown into the background of any scenario she is a part of.
Let us see what new things develop in the visual novel Tomoya wants to make.
8. Grimoire of Zero

Grimoire of Zero has the setting of an RPG game with the main character being Zero, a witch.
The world of Grimoire of Zero is set such that humans and witches are constantly battling each other but there exists a third class of warriors, The Beastfallen.
Beastfallen is cursed humans that are born with significantly more strength than normal humans and have animalistic nature and behavior.
Zero and her hired beast fallen, which she names, “Mercenary” and her friend Albus set out on an adventure to find the Grimoire of Zero!
7. Renai Boukun

What would you do if a random person showed up at your front door and asked you to kiss someone within the next 24 hours or you would die?
That is a very strange request but as we know anime is unpredictable and this is exactly what happens with Seiji.
Guri, a cute little black-haired girl comes to Seiji’s house and asks him to kiss someone.
Seiji finds himself compelled so much that he gives in and kisses the strange girl!
This is one promising anime for sure! I can’t wait to see what all shenanigans the Kiss Note causes in the life of Seiji and Guri!
6. Armed Girl’s Machiavellism

Machiavellism is a word that doesn’t get tossed around that often but it is the most important part of this anime.
Machiavellism is a personality trait that defines a person’s manipulativeness, cunningness, and lack of respect toward morality.
What do you think happens when an all-girls school decides to become a co-ed?
I would say they would smoothly transition into a co-ed with the number of males rising yearly and soon both genders having equal shares but the girls of Private Aichi Symbiosis Academy had a different idea.
Soon after the school transitioned from all-girls to co-ed the girls very given permission to carry weapons and thus they formed groups that would maintain peace in the school and correct the behavior of rowdy students.
The school turned into a male attitude-correcting center, quite a unique idea!
5. Re: Creators

This has to be the anime with the most unique plot on the list.
I don’t know if it can be classified as isekai but it has mystery, mecha action, and a lot of fantasy and escapism.
Re: Creators is set in a world where humans can design worlds just like they can imagine.
Souta Mizushino, the lead of the anime aspires to become one such creator so that he can lay out a design from his vivid imagination.
One fine day while watching an anime he gets pulled into a fight and upon returning to the real world he finds that a character from that world has entered their world.
It’s been a wild ride so far and I think the mystery will lead to something much bigger shortly so stick to this one, it is promising.
4. Eromanga-sensei

Coming in next on number four is Eromanga Sensei a high school comedy-drama with some elements of romance and ecchi.
Eromanga Sensei is about two step-siblings Sagiri and Masamune that get drifted apart because of the sudden death of their parents.
As money is hard to come by after the loss of his parents Masamune has to work as the author of a light novel illustrated by a person who goes by Eromanga Sensei.
3. Akashic Records of Bastard Magic Instructor

Next up on number three, we have another anime set in a magical world. In this world, the Alzano Empire has a great magical school, Alzano Imperial Magic Academy where young magicians come to develop their magical abilities.
A young noble girl Sistine Fibel and her friend Rumia decide to attend the academy to hone their magical skills and become better.
I am pumped to see what happens as the anime has been promising so far.
Let us see what this anime brings to this season.
2. Attack on Titan Season 2

The long-awaited and long-anticipated anime of this season and most probably the entire year has made a return.
The fans can’t stop going crazy over it and rightfully so, we have waited a long 4 years for this new season.
I don’t even need to tell you anything about this one! Attack on Titans has taken over social media and the mainstream audience and is probably gonna be more popular in its upcoming seasons.
Can’t wait to see what happens in the end.
I am sure they are gonna leave us on a cliffhanger at the end of the season but hopefully, the next season will be back within a year.
1. My Hero Academia Season 2

Boku no Hero Academia has grown to a different level of popularity in the mainstream audience.
BnHA is increasing the number of people that watch anime on its own!
It will be fun to see how much Deku and others improve this season.
Their growth in the first season itself was extraordinary and the anime is super fun to watch.
That’s all folks!
This is my list of the most anticipated Spring 2017 anime mid-season!
Hope you agree with me somewhat and that you enjoyed the list.
