Eren Kruger attack on titan characters

Kruger is an attack on titan character who appeared to be a largely stoic individual who never displayed any emotions, most likely as a consequence of enduring years of suffering and misery as a mole and being forced to commit brutal and atrocious acts against fellow Eldians.

After finding Grisha and Faye Yeager outside of their internment zone, he felt no qualms in punishing Grisha physically.

He again continued to show a lack of empathy when the Yeagers learned of Faye’s death, remaining stone-faced at the sight of their sorrow.

Hannes is a attack on titan character who was a very kind, good-natured man, but he always drank irresponsibly. Although somewhat cowardly, he was determined to die if it meant freeing Eren from his captors.

He was greatly ashamed of his lack of courage five years ago, and waited to encounter the Titan who killed Eren’s mother, Carla Yeager, again, in order to slay it and make up for his past mistakes.

Hannes cared deeply for Eren and Mikasa and looked out for them after Carla was eaten. He ultimately gave his life to protect them.

19. Marco Bott

Marco Bott

Marco was an idealistic attack on titan character, valuing the good of the group above his own interests as well as understanding and coping with his own shortcomings and limitations.

The others respected him greatly and considered him to be a natural leader suited to his dreams of joining the Military Police Brigade.

Unlike those who joined the Military Police Brigade for safety and privileges, his reasons for wanting to join it were genuinely faithful.

18. Sasha Blouse

Sasha Blouse

Sasha was a friendly, fun-loving attack on titan character with a compulsive appetite. Originating from Dauper Village, she had a local accent, but actively hid it out of embarrassment by using formal speech, even when conversing with her fellow trainees.

Initially, Sasha was shown to be somewhat timid and prone to make mistakes when under stressful situations. She was rather simple-minded and eccentric, but her intuition was very sharp.

Sasha was also surprisingly courageous, and she was considered a wise judge of circumstances and danger.

17. Keith Shadis

Keith Shadis

Keith is a attack on titan character who was shown to be fascinated with the world beyond the Walls. It was this fascination that drove him to join the Survey Corps, and led to him developing a very self-righteous personality, often referring to himself as being “different” from everyone else within the Walls.

This aspect of his personality was only strengthened after he met Grisha Yeager, whose high praise for Keith led him to begin considering himself a special “chosen” human being.

Because of this, Keith started to look down on others, always considering himself the smartest person in any given situation, and he rejected new strategies from his soldiers as he felt his own ideas were adequate.

16. Darius Zackly

Darius Zackly

When he was first introduced as an attack on titan character, Zackly was said to be a strict military leader who was only concerned with the best interests of humanity. As the head of the entire military, his priorities were said to lie within what is best for all of humanity.

Only after being logically convinced of Eren’s usefulness did he pardon him. At this time he appeared to take most things lightly, as if he had experienced them previously.

During the trial of Eren, he wore simple clothes and conducted the trial without any drama or passion. Similarly, he overthrew the monarchy with an incredibly casual demeanor.

15. Annie Leonhart

Annie Leonhart

Due to this attack on titan character harsh upbringing, Annie has become an isolated, exclusionary person; friendships do not come to her easily. She is rarely seen smiling and often has an emotionless expression.

She is apathetic and somnolent, with little desire to put in any effort into meaningless disciplines or activities, and instead claims to focus exclusively on making it into the Military Police Brigade to obtain an easy life.

While Annie tends to have a realistic outlook on life, she holds a fascination and even feelings of respect towards people who have a deep sense of duty and righteousness—people who devote their lives to and even die for causes they believe in.

14. Connie Springer

Connie Springer

Connie can be best described as outgoing and impetuous attack on titan character. He has an easy time expressing his opinions, and enjoys flaunting his skills, especially during his days as a trainee.

Despite being in the military, Connie starts off as rather unfocused, and enjoys goofing around and messing with his friends, but can also be a bit dense at times.

Later, Connie’s naive enthusiasm falls away after multiple close encounters with the Titans.

13. Grisha Yeager

Grisha Yeager

He appeared on the surface to be a rather calm, calculated attack on titan character, Grisha’s most notable characteristics were his hard-headed personality and his intense passion for whatever cause he dedicated himself to.

Grisha’s hard-headed tendency was most evident during his childhood, and usually to his own detriment.

This was best exemplified by his decision to ignore his mother’s warnings, and take his younger sister outside Liberio’s Internment Zone, leading to her eventual demise.

12. Hange Zoe

Hange Zoe

To most people, Hange appeared to be an energetic, freethinking researcher with a very unique way of conducting themselves and their work through their rather observant and objective attack on titan character.

They explained that they first had a very resentful heart and insecure character when they joined the Survey Corps, but when they kicked the head of a 3 meter Titan they were shocked and amazed at how abnormally light it was.

This drove Hange to forget most of their resentment and insecurity, as well as taking an outside the box approach to Titan research and showcased their wild actions.

11. Zeke Yeager

Zeke Yeager

Zeke is a very intelligent and curious attack on titan character. He tries to communicate with Mike Zacharias in order to get information about the vertical maneuvering equipment and learn about Mike’s language, though such curiosity is often characterized by a marked callous detachment.

He displays the traits of a leader, giving orders and telling other people, sometimes even Titans, what to do.

While he was talking with Mike, he told the Titan that was eating him to hold him instead of devouring him.

10. Ymir

Ymir

Ymir appeared to be selfish, cynical, uncooperative, and confrontational attack on titan character. However, she later revealed a kinder side, especially around Historia Reiss.

Even earlier, Ymir showed this emotional and selfless aspect of herself when she took full responsibility for the Eldian cult’s existence, despite her followers betraying her first.

She also saved Erwin Smith’s life, even though she blamed him for the failure of her plan of ensuring Krista’s future.

9. Bertolt Hoover

Bertolt Hoover

Bertolt was a quiet attack on titan character who identified himself as someone with a weak will that follows popular opinion. Likewise, his instructor noted him to be a person with great potential, but an utter lack of initiative.

He was further described by Eren Yeager as being taciturn, and Bertolt tended to remain in the background unless necessary. By his own admission, he was somewhat of a coward and was noted for his low self-esteem.

His withdrawn behavior initially led to the impression of him being the least emotionally compromised of the three Titan warriors. He showed little attachment or remorse over his actions, seeming to care only about his partner, Reiner Braun.

8. Reiner Braun

 Reiner Braun

As a child, Reiner was rather quiet and meek yet at the same time very loyal and driven.

He believed that if he became a Warrior then his Marleyan father would come back and deluded himself into thinking he would still cheer him on as he fought the Eldians, even after he rejected him.

Because of his motivation, Reiner was very desperate to become a Warrior, even going as far as to accuse Galliard of being an Eldian spy when he belittled him.

7. Krista Lenz / Historia Reiss

Krista Lenz / Historia Reiss

Historia is usually very shy, kind, and uncertain on how to interact with others (likely due to her isolation as a child).

However, Ymir notes that Historia’s urge to show kindness to others stems not only from a desire to gain their esteem, but also that of the people around her: to be seen as a good person.

This likely stems from her having been denied the esteem of others as a child and being raised to believe that she was an unfortunate mistake.

6. Jean Kirstein

Jean Kirstein

Jean has a blunt personality. He holds no restraint when it comes to speaking his mind, even when he knows it would not be wise to do so or when it could spark conflict.

Jean is also pragmatic: he has a strong aversion to exposing himself to dangerous situations, and has openly admitted his desire to join the Military Police is due to wanting an easy and safe life.

During his time as a trainee, Jean was extremely hot-headed, easily becoming frustrated and quick to resort to violence when pushed.

5. Mikasa Ackerman

Mikasa Ackerman

Before joining the Yeager family, Mikasa appeared to be a cheerful, outgoing, and gentle child. Her innocence allowed her to push anxious thoughts to the back of her mind, continuing to live with her parents and loved ones happily.

Growing up, Mikasa has become emotionally withdrawn and noticeably dangerous, sometimes intimidating her enemies or even her comrades. She is quite stoic and level headed, rarely seen to lose her cool or be at a loss of what to do, no matter how bleak the situation seems to be.

Her will is remarkably strong, demonstrated when she managed to remain so outwardly calm when Eren was presumed dead; only Armin could tell that she was battling with the pain of losing him.

4. Eren Yeager

Eren Yeager

Eren is best described as hardheaded, strong-willed, passionate, and impulsive, which are attributes of both his strong determination to protect mankind and, eventually, his equally strong determination to escape the Walls.

Even as a young child, he was so intent on joining the Survey Corps that he argued with and shouted at his mother, referring to the people in the village as “silly” and comparing them to complacent livestock.

Eren cares deeply for his friends and family, risking harm and even death in order to protect them. As a child, he took on larger boys who bullied Armin Arlert and, more tragically, he attempted to lift the rubble that crushed his mother during the Titans’ assault in Shiganshina.

3. Erwin Smith

Erwin Smith

Erwin was a complex character, portrayed as serious, calculating, and always planning far in the future.

While he trusted his men, he was the first to realize that there was a spy interfering with the Survey Corps, and was able to come up with a reasonable criteria to determine which of his soldiers to trust with vital information, and which to keep in the dark.

An eloquent speaker, Erwin was able to sway many people, such as the military tribunal held to judge Eren and the trainees into choosing which recruitment branches to join.

2. Levi Ackerman

Levi Ackerman

Despite his preoccupation with cleanliness, Levi is not very approachable. He rarely shows emotion, giving a cold impression to others. His manner of speaking tends to be very blunt, even insulting, and his comments are often coarse or inappropriate.

He is not above provoking or belittling those who oppose or irritate him. His sense of humor tends toward the vulgar, insulting, and dark. All of this makes him unsettling to a great number of people.

In his pre-Survey Corps criminal life, when he lived in the Underground City, Levi refused to take orders from anyone, though he placed a great trust in his comrades, something he would later do with his subordinates.

1. Armin Arlert

Armin Arlert

Even when he was young, the naturally curious Armin had a deep fascination with the world beyond the Walls. As a child, he found and studied an illegal book about the outside world that was owned by his grandfather.

He told Eren Yeager, his best friend, about the book and the information that was contained in it. Armin was branded a heretic by other children for his unusual interest in the outside world, and was thus frequently picked on.

Too timid to defend himself, Armin would often rely on his friends Eren and Mikasa Ackerman to protect him from local bullies.
