11. Asuma Sarutobi From Naruto

Asuma was typically a laid-back individual bearded anime characters, and did not get himself involved in things unless absolutely necessary, as seen when he decided not to help save Hinata Hyūga during her fight in the Chūnin Exams.

He was a heavy smoker, but, despite this, he would abruptly break the habit under certain circumstances, such as when his father died or learned that Kurenai was pregnant.

Growing up with strong morals, Jet enlisted in the Inter-Solar System Police (ISSP) and soon became an investigator.

Due to his stubbornness, while chasing criminals, he earned the nickname “Black Dog,” the dog that bites its prey and never lets go. He met Bob and Donnelly.

He has a big mouth with several broken or missing teeth (though sometimes he does have a full set, which is an inconsistency error made by Oda), a pronounced crooked nose and a very large and hairy chest and torso.

Hohenheim is a fairly tall, broad-shouldered bearded anime characters with the appearance of a man of relatively healthy middle-age. He wears his long, golden-blond hair in a loose, shoulder-length ponytail with two or three loose strands of hair falling over his brow and sports a full Donegal-style beard on his square jaw.

He also wears spectacles over his golden eyes, though whether or not he needs them is unknown. He has been described as “very handsome” by several women over the course of the series. In the manga, Hohenheim frequently wears a white dress shirt and tie under a black vest with matching slacks and a brown overcoat.

Admiral Juzo Okita the stern commanding officer of the Yamato, utterly devoted to his mission to save Earth from the Gamilus threat, even at the cost of his own life.

He is bearded anime characters in fact dying, and becomes increasingly ill during the course of the first season, but remains convinced that he will live to see his home world again.

Generally, Yamamoto appears as an old samurai with black hair wrapping around the sides of his head and balding at the top. His hair is longer on the back and tied into a topknot to further enhance his eastern influenced traditions.

To go along with his aged appearance is a pair of thick black eyebrows and a thick, long black mustache that drops below his chin. His face appears aged with numerous lines that run under his eyes, shallow cheekbones and squared chin.

4. Jigen Daisuke From Lupin III

While Lupin and Goemon both have unique sartorial tastes, Jigen is rather minimalist bearded anime characters. His typical wardrobe is a grey or black suit, white or light-colored dress shirt, black tie and his ever-present grey (or black) broad-brimmed black-banded fedora; the hat ranks as his most prized possession outside of his weaponry.

Even when he changes the rest of his attire he keeps his hat on and only removes it when mourning a death or during very formal occasions.

During the third season of the anime, Jigen’s outfit is more light-colored and his hatband has a herringbone design (similar to the original manga interpretation of the character); however, the Black look is most applied for OVA productions and TV specials.

Isaac Netero appeared to be a helpless old bearded anime characters, but was surprisingly fit and muscular for his age. He had a ponytail, a thick beard, and stretched earlobes with two piercings in both ears. Netero was commonly seen wearing a traditional man’s kimono and pair of geta with one ha (tooth).

During the Chimera Ant arc, he changed his appearance for his upcoming fight with Meruem by trimming his beard, mustache, and ponytail. When in combat, Netero preferred to wear a t-shirt with the Japanese kanji character for the word “heart/mind”, 「心」(kokoro), printed on the front and track shorts.
