It’s nice to take a break from some of the cynical stories that dominate modern anime and to relax with some moe anime tales.

Plot : Saint Young Men is a Slice of Life manga about two guys sharing an apartment. They face more or less ordinary problems like not having enough money, facing Japan’s packed public transport and so on.

The Catch? The two guys are Jesus and Buddha, currently on vacation in Japan.

Plot: The story is set long in the future where the world has seen many wars and has settled into a quiet decline. The story begins as Kanata Kumika, a 15-year-old girl who enlists with the army, was assigned to a unit of five girls as they defend a fortress.

It also seems that music would play an important part of the series, since the series has some pretty heavy emphasis on the girls playing music across lands from their fortress.

Plot: The story revolves around a highschool boy named Niwa Makoto. He lives with his aunt’s family since his parents are away on business. It is there where he meets his mysterious cousin of the same age Touwa Erio — who happens to tie a futon mattress around her upper body and is a self-proclaimed alien.

Her staple food is pizza. Erio had been missing for half a year and was found floating in the sea. She doesn’t remember anything about what happened during that period of time, but she began to think that it was the act of an alien and wanders the neighbourhood wrapped in the futon.

Plot: Otonokizaka High School is in a crisis! With the number of enrolling students dropping lower and lower every year, the school is set to shut down after its current first years graduate. Plot: Azumanga Daioh is a Japanese yonkoma comedy manga series written and illustrated by Kiyohiko Azuma, serialized in MediaWorks’ Dengeki Daioh magazine from February 1999 to May 2002.

Three additional chapters were published in Shogakukan’s Monthly Shōnen Sunday in May 2009 to celebrate the manga’s tenth anniversary.
