Goo Ranking asked the Japanese community to rank the smartest anime characters from Weekly Shounen Jump.
That must have been a tough task since the manga magazine is home to hundreds of excellent characters to pick from!

Where is Lelouch of Code Geass. Lelouch is the smartest anime protagonist, no question. He started a rebellion, manipulated an entire country and restored order all by himself. Light Yagami played tag with L for 40 episodes. He can never be compared to Lelouch. This is chess, not checkers
